Guarded Warbades
Exotic One-Handed
Damage: 1d8
Critical: 19-20
Type: Slashing
Weight: 4lb
Cost: 50g
Special: Guarded

Guarded: The guard on the weapon is substantial enough to provide +1 shield bonus to AC, but a -1 to hit due limited reach. Additional it can be enchanted separately like a another head of the weapon. The shield only takes shield enchantments. You must have Exotic Weapon Proficiency(Guarded Warblade) to benefit from this trait.


New Feat
Paired Blades (Combat)
Prerequisite: Exotic Weapon Proficiency (Guarded Warblades), Two-Weapon Fighting
Benefit: When dual-wielding two guarded warblades they count as light weapons for determining penalties.
 When dual-wielding two guarded warblades the shield bonus form guarded stacks. If both warblades have enhancement bonuses to shield AC only the best applies. Enchantments that use the shields enchantment bonus to determine effects, its effects are based off the normal enhancement for that shield not the new enhancement.


Khii'dyr
Khii'dyr, also known as Soul Steel, is a rare metal that has a connection to the negative energy plane. It can often be found near the paces heavily tainted by that plane.
Khii'dyr collects the fractions of the souls that depart while in contact with it. This ability reflects and any item crafted of the metal to become magical over time. Melee Weapons are the most common things to be crafted of the material, but any item normally crafted of metal can be made of Khii'dyr. Raw metal has a black glass appearance, but once worked it becomes solid black metal. As it garners soul parts the black becomes stained with white swirls. Each creature killed counts as 1g per HD toward progress chart below. If a double weapon the gathered souls are split between both ends. The item advances its enhancement bonus first until it cannot enhance further then gains other abilities. To count for advancement the creature must have a CR of 1+.

The metal weighs 1.4lb x lb of iron / Hardness 30 / HP 20 per inch / 1000g per lb.
