I'm not dumb. I'm staying out here!
And the weasel laughs maniacally as he pulls a hidden lever, causing the ceiling to cave in on the rest of the party. Game over. :D

*ahem*... "I said... 'they enter, and die'. Couldn't make it simpler. heads over to his camp just behind the hill, using a stone like the one they showed him to cook over a fire with.

I am SOOO going to have to use something like this as an adventure in a campaign, now... Imagine how much hatred this could inspire from the PCs?

The little guy, standing over their broken bodies and looting them as they exhale their dying breaths, says "Guess I better make another one of those fake runestones. Stupid "adventurers".   :jumping

Reminds me of that Head of Vecna story...

Don't forget to have the Dwarven traveling merchant cart near the end of the campaign.

"RUNESTONES! GET YOUR RUNESTONES! KEYSTONES! FLAGSTONES!" and his cart is filled with cheap, imitation runestones exactly like the ones the party is looking for.

<player> BUT... these runes... they.... they....
<Dwarf> Not bad, eh. My boy took a fall last spring, and his arm has this twitch. So I gave him a paintbrush and voila, instant runestones!

I used the head of vecna in a game. I planted little clues for weeks, and I even made a ear of vecna haha. long story short, one greedy greedy PC paid one of the other players to cut his head off and put the vecna one on.
it was pretty funny  :P

Sorry for disappearing for the past few weeks. Now that things are getting settled at my new job, I should have more time available.
