Ugh. I've played with a non-optimizer playing a rogue. His combat actions switched between firing his shortbow from hiding (usually missing, and only dealing the fairly awful regular sneak attack damage when it did hit) and hiding again to do it all over. Wasn't really much better out of combat either.

Otoh, in a Spirit of the Century game, I've been the one doing it. I made the mistake of having a disguise-based character, which meant that after I had donned some disguise, I could at any point take some nameless NPC and go "it was me all along!". You can probably imagine how I sat there, waiting for the best moment to do this, only to never having it arrive.

I had a player play as a pixie rogue once in a level 6 or so game... said character did nothing but scout and could have been replaced by a familiar or something.

looks like we're running out of readily-at-hand material, so I'll try to dig deep for the next 3:

"I full Power Attack again" (despite being told the previous round that his nat-18 missed)

(he does this kinda shit all the time)

-- when asked what he wanted to do this round, while the entire rest of the party is righteously and justifiably in the midst of a Leroy Jenkins moment!

"I need to level up" (said an hour in to the session -- in regards to XP from last session, immediately after f'n initiative had been rolled)
