David grabs the crate with his name on it and loads it into the suburban, then adds his own couple bags of equipment. That done, he finds the crate with the walkies and headsets, opens it up, and distributes them, testing each as he hands them out. Once everyone has one, he gets into the back of the Suburban, and starts to go through his crate. I wonder if we should get a small storage unit to store some of this stuff in. They definitely have some in Manhattan, and it would certainly be less conspicuous than carrying all of this stuff into a hotel in mid-town. Or we could also leave most of it in the van, find a self-park lot to stash it, and then make several trips to bring it all up piecemeal. Driving up to the hotel as guests with a cargo van is also not inconspicuous. Either way, we should try and sort through some of this gear before getting to the hotel.
