Oslecamo's Improved Monster Classes / Re: Anthropomorphic Animal

Had to edit my post as I realized I also made my wording easy to misunderstand.

Hate to necromance, but need some clarification.

"Animal Prowess: At 1st level the AA gains +1 to two physical ability scores of it's choice. For every other level on this class it gains an extra +1 to the chosen scores, for a total bonus of +6 at 6th level."

Does this mean (in total)
A) at level 6 it grants +6 to two scores.
Or B) it grants an increase of +3 to two scores?

The phrasing with 'every other' has me uncertain if it means each level or levels 1, 3, and 5.

Yuwea means the game I referred him to. It VERY unexpectedly shutdown within an hour of him posting a greeting.

Had been going over a year and hadn't heard anything about it so I was taken by complete surprise too.

Now I'm also hunting a FFd20 game to play.

No no, they swapped the old mp system out, and made the old one a 'high MP' variant.

It is a load of fun and hits most of the fan favorite classes and themes from Final Fantasy history.

Still needs basic PF feats, but can operate with its own items (though benefits greatly from PF standards)

Limit breaks are great, and I advise using the High MP optional system. They made that change about 2 months ago and 90% of the community hated it.

I've been getting into this system quite a bit recently.

Can't say I can DM, but I'd love to get some more playtime with it. Keep in mind it is an active system and they make updates about once a month, changing even core things like your MP Pool every so often.

I'd be glad to join up, especially gestalt or otherwise.

Oh, and hit me up Yuwea and I can send you a link to a gestalt game that will be recruiting again soon.

Small mistake on the index links.

Under templates, Elder Eidolon opens the Evolved Undead, and Evolved Undead is a dead link.

8
Looking it over, you might be able to trim down the per level amount by splitting the math around.
1, 5, and 10 are your Eidolon Body, Greater Eidolon Body, and Perfected Eidolon Body levels. Maybe have each of those with a flat price and scale down the amount per level?

Exact numbers are beyond me right now though. I'd need time.

I've actually thought about it a good deal and I'm going to go ahead and sit this one out. Much as I'd enjoy it, I know how rough it can be to tack someone on at the last moment.

10
Pretty easily. Have a few old ideas to sift through but I'm fine sitting it out if you're full.

too late to offer up anything?

Been doing some more thinking.

Using Tome of Radiance to build an archer in the spirit of Kid Icarus.

Anyplace for a Disciple of Palutena?

Oh damn, I got another idea which should have been obvious. I could play an Adept from Golden Sun! I mean I just started playing it again. No idea how to do it, reflavored psionic class?

Adepts were largely focused. Could run the range from Caster to Gish, and their Psynergy were rather direct. A psionic class would likely work just as well as a normal caster.

When people say Tome of Radiance they mean this, right?

yeah, that's it. Fun system, and with my only other instance of it having had less than a chapter of screentime...it's on my list of things to use more. Same with the Moon Vanguard really. Something I was able to start playing, got some enjoyment from it, and then the game died abruptly. Such a shame.

I might see about something like that Space Pirate then. A Samus-type either using the Metroid Incarnum (never actually used it) or maybe your Moon Vanguard assuming it has been kept up to date with your SRW updates.

Another option might be that 'caster' out of the Tome of Radiance....has been about a year since I got to mess with that. And there's all kind of easy fluff points for a light using mage.

Hm...interesting.

Would prospective characters need to be based on existing Zelda themes, or would stuff from Nintendo's toybox that could fit in the setting also be welcomed?
