Text
  • Fusillades: The Centurion increases all martial fusillades as if the character had gained a level in the appropriate class at each indicated level.
  • Unit Leader (Ex): A centurion is the leader of a tightly knit group of men, all of whom would follow him wherever he might go. Normally, they are part of a larger military organization, but sometimes they can be a roving band, mercenary, tribal, or otherwise. The unit is comprised of a total number of soldiers equal to the centurion's character level. No soldier can have a CR more than 1/2 the character level of the centurion (rounded down). Any soldiers lost from the unit are replaced after 1d4 weeks. These soldiers are always of the same race as the centurion, and begin by taking levels in either the Soldier or Wildling NPC class (they continue in Champion or Savage, as appropriate). They act on the same initiative as the centurion. The centurion can never take advantage of cohorts, summons, or other followers, unless he wishes the men in his unit to desert him.
  • Together As One (Ex): The soldiers in the centurion's unit would gladly give their lives for one another, and sometimes do. The soldiers combine all their hitpoints into a single pool - no soldier is slain until the entire pool is emptied.
  • With Me!: A Centurion has trained his men to act as a single cohesive whole. Every soldier in his unit, including himself, uses the best base attack bonus amongst all creatures in the unit. They also get a +2 bonus on damage rolls if adjacent to another member of their unit.
