(Heward's) Handy Haversack
« on: October 21, 2012, 09:28:35 AM »
Let me see if I got this correct.

3.0 had the Heward's Handy Haversack in the DMG. Withdrawing something from it is a move equivalent action.
3.0 DMG errata changed this to a free action
3.5 removed the Heward's and made the Handy Haversack. Withdrawing something changed back to move equivalent.
3.5 DMG errata says nothing about the Haversack.

So are we now back at move equivalent action? Or am I missing an errata somewhere?

Crap. I keep finding references to it being a free action. But those are 3.0 references than. To bad. This makes the Handy Haversack only marginally better than a bag of holding.

But it is still better since it does not provoke an AoO.

That at least is a plus.

Well, thanx. Asked and aswered.

One small correction: 3.5e still kept the Heward's in the name.  PF removed it.
What do I win?
An awesome-five for mentioning Penny Arcade's On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness.

Re-Correcting: SRD removed it, just like Mordenkainen's Mage's Disjunction.
