Kuroimaken good stuff.
#1 is spot on.
#2 is ... well ... is Trump coordinating with anyone other than his Golf Courses?
I'm sure the news has made the rounds, that the diplomat next to Trump in the brown "Make Brazil Great Again" hat, tested positive.  And Bolsanaro.

This guy has a batch of graphics just like this one on his Twitter.  USA is 11 days behind Italy.  Brazil is 20.  That's bad, really bad.  Like heartsick bad.

We've been averaging 32-36ยบ Celsius days out here (that's 89-97 F for you yanks out there) in spite of Fall being right around the corner, heatwave is supposed to end on Sunday, and then temperatures are supposed to plummet.

Bolsonaro has supposedly taken two tests so far, one was positive, the other was negative, so.

Though it kinda begs the question. Bolsonaro and Trump are both hated as public figures. If one infects the other with Corona, will either be praised?  :lol

EDIT: Oh, and in non-viral-related news, my sister has decided to throw one of her famous epic tantrums and make my life miserable once again, by ransoming our relationship as usual. I told her in no uncertain terms that I am no longer moved by her tears. Not when they come from where they are. I can't let her manipulate me anymore.

I do feel bad for my mom, though. She can't stand seeing me and her at odds, it breaks her heart. Oh, and the reason for her tantrum?

She disagreed with the way I put songs into the mp3 player she bought for our ailing father, in spite of me paying for a charger, an SD card AND a headphone it did not come with.

Huh.  Life does go on, doesn't it?

Be safe everybody.

My primary internet is being shut down for 3 weeks.
My secondary internet is zeroing local and distance access.
Granpa heard from a colleague in SKorea.  Their universities are going strictly on-line, but don't have enough bandwidth for all the students.  Presumably this is or will be happening everywhere.
(and so I'm a small potatoes casualty)
My tertiary internet is defacto read-only.

My brother works for a FEMA subcontractor, and they're going totally remote.  That's FEMA shutting itself down.
(I do realize this is the most possible music-to-their-ears for certain political types)

So long fare well I need a sane good by-ye
Adieu adieu to you and you (but not you-ou)
My kitty avatar says good bye to you
My kitty avatar's Tail says good bye too.

Yay earthquake!

5.7 quake here in Salt Lake City.  I'm good, my work was good, but there are plenty of people who had a bad time...

I have been sorting cards on Tabletop Simulator for the last week. Tonight while tired and on autopilot I hit overwrite instead of load, saving a blank table over all my hard work. Steam cloud naturally saved this change immediately, and this laptop has no rollback function for user files.

My grandma has had 3 strokes and I'm planning on visiting her in a couple of weeks because this is probably the last chance I'll have.

This is a review I did for a Dr. Welsh in Claremore, Oklahoma.

Tried to find out about an appointment my ex set up for my son, they wouldn't tell me anything, so I tried to cancel it, but they said I had to talk to my ex (we have split custody).  So I said I'd talk to my lawyer ("You do that!').  Next day I show up, with my son, and have him explain that he doesn't want the operation his mom set up for him (He's 11), explain what part of the divorce decree my lawyer pointed out this was violating, then ask what I can do.  The receptionist rudely tells me that I need to get my lawyer to talk to their supervisor.  So I did.  Later, I get a hateful call from the supervisor "thanks to you the appointment has been cancelled!  I don't appreciate you showing up and threatening my employees.  If you show up here again, I will have you arrested!"  She then reiterates that I am not welcome there and she will call the cops "And you can tell your lawyer that!"  I will be letting all my friends know this is not where they want to do there business.

They hid my review on Google.  Spread the word everywhere you can.

I'm at the mechanic's shop getting work done before the maintenance becomes emergency repairs, and I'm rather upset with the cost. A little over $2,000 for a bunch of suspension work, and they STILL didn't have time to replace the bushings. They said those are good for another year, but I would have much preferred they got it done in the same job. I brought it to them as soon as they opened, and it'll be here till they close.

If Social Security comes after me for overpay after the pandemic is over I'm likely screwed. For now though I can absorb this with the relief check and my overtime pay.
