Adziil motions with a clawed hand that he will silently investigate.  He listens and watches carefully while slinking his way toward the sound.

"Yá'át'ééh, Nizhoni." Adziil meets the giantess' large light eyes with his own. "Promise Keeper is a strong name.  A strong name for one with a strong spirit.  I see your plan, and I see it well to walk with you." Adziil looks around. "I see it well l to walk with all of you. Let us walk together, and Adziil will walk ahead."  He lifts his weapon and points in the direction they should go.

Still breathing heavily Adziil notices Gwaedwen and stomps over to the map table. He slams his palms on the table and shows his breathing.  He eyes narrow with intensity - first boring into the mission organizers and then glaring at the map as if it was trying to hide something from him. He growls, "Where do we find them?"

Adziil can hide, scout, and track. Dark vision and scent.  He can take point.

Is there a way to communicate silently?
That way he could tip off the rest of the team.  Allow first strike guy to go first and then strike from the shadows.

"Yes. I know... Too well." Sighs the great saurian as he remembers his past.  He grimaces and violently grips his arms. His nails sink into his flesh and blood drips out.
He throws back his head and screams as his muscles bulge to impossible size. "That is why I . . . AM . . . ADZIIL!!!"

"I WILL FIND THEM!"

"I WILL SAVE THEM!"

"TELL ME WHERE TO GO!"

"HAAAAAAAAAAAAA!"

The muscular Biyou snorts his initial skepticism, but his stem gaze softens and his eyes moisten as he allows the possibility of hope to creep into heart. "My people..."

He stares off into the distance before turning back to the Maiden of the Coins.

"I wish to learn these ways." He states matter of factly.

Adziil scratches the scales around his wild red mane and then swings his great treebreaker across his shoulders.  "So, what happens to the people we save?  I see many have never known anything different and most of them either die in the wilds or fall prey to the next villain who'll take advantage of them."

"Butt Standing Behind, you say?" A muscular Biyou strides up to the gathering. His countenance is hard to read and you're not sure if he is teasing you or earnestly mistaken. His dark scaled body is covered in intricate tribal scars that glisten in the light and tell his story of suffering and triumph to those who can discern them.

He takes his time sizing up each of the adventurers in the group. The savage's nostrils flair and his tongue slips out as he takes a moment to evaluate each of you.  His intense gaze lingers longest on the two llethu. His red eyes soften ever so slightly as if perhaps he's determined that no one here poses an immediate threat.

"Adziil!" He announces as he thumps his meaty hand against his chest and raises his head with pride.

Introduce Yourself / Re: Hi guys

Good to have you, Samuel!

16
Hank nods at Niko before turning to Kasumi.  "Then we will stop these murderers.  I understand that you're trying to be both pragmatic and diplomatic.  What's done is done as they say.  But these villagers would still be alive if not for these murderous fey, and appeasing these necromantic marauders broadcasts a sort of mewling worshipful weakness on our part - not to mention a distinct lack of strategic acumen regarding the nature of undead hordes.

I can't believe that you would be so callous if someone killed your mother that you would then hand over her body to be animated for their twisted pleasure.

I serve the God of all life and death and will not be cowed into the murky service of some mere rogue principality that lurks in the shadows of this forest.  I say it is she who must contend with us.

You may proceed as your conscience dictates, and I will do the same.  My crew and I will go consecrate the bodies of these villagers, comfort their loved ones, and if necessary defend them against future raids.  May the Almighty bless you and keep you."

Hank and his holy band depart...singing.

17
"No, you may not recover the bodies.  They belong to the Almighty God.  It is he who formed them from dust and to dust they shall return.  If this is an inauspicious kairos to meet with your lady, then allow us to confer this message and take our leave."

Hank motions to his crew who emerge from the tangled wilderness and begin playing.

"Please consider the offer to be rejoined with your heavenly Father who longs to gather all His beautiful lost children from the four winds."  Hank bows and joins his performing missionary band as they break out singing in Krevbornski.

18
Hank swaggers forward confidently - flashing a reassuring smile. "No need to fear my lovely ladies.  We are as surprised as you are.  Pray tell - why have you so cruelly left us stranded here wondering what's become of you?  You know I only have your best interest in mind."

Hank looks genuinely perplexed for a moment and then dons a broad mischievous smile.  "Well I sing because I'm happy.  I sing because I'm free..."  Hank cuts himself off chuckling. "Why, Yuki, how can you not sing?  Surely people must sing in your home country, don't they?  Singing is the language of the soul.  It is the overflow of the heart.  It is the proper response to the tragic beauty and glorious miracle of existence.  How can you NOT sing?

This poor fey child is all wrapped in the bondage of her own sorrow.  What better way to speak to her than in a song that calls her to joy of freedom?

There are even some here who are afraid to take on the challenge of facing another fey noble.  How better to bolster their spirits than through a song that calls them to take a chance in the face of death?"

He scratches his chin in thought for a moment, considering what he knows of Yuki.  "Consider the saying, 'The dragon sings because he has nothing to fear, and everyone who hears him knows it.'"
