I'll quickly search him for anything of note, and after I finish I will place a droplet of the Lurgash poison into his mouth. "Rot for the Plague God..." I will chant as I do so.

You fail to find anything of not upon him other than his weapon and armor. His glaive does seem to be enhanced in some way that you cannot discern and his armor is mundane as far as you can tell though it is rather robust.

[Glaive is sw+5 cut, thr +3 imp, pen 3 all burn damage (it crackles with electricity). The armor is 30 except head which is 45]

You hear from the broken door and coming from below "Kill the intruders! The prophet must be avenged!" after which you hear something truly unnerving, a horrendous screech [Int or lore to see if you can recognize it].

I'll take the helmet, placing it on my head as I stand back up and head towards the door. If it seems safe to do so, I'll peak my head around the corner (unless I recognize that sound as something truly horrific lol).

To see if I recall sound:

[The armor is modular if you wished to use the arms or legs parts]
In the deepest recesses of your mind you recall something. The unearthly screech of a daemon under Tzeench and its reputation for mutilation and gore. As you look around the corner you see the last of several Inevitable Guards run out the main gates giving chase to the intruders.

[Oh hell yes.]

I strip the Inevitable Guard of his arm and leg armor as I head back outside. "Fuck this place" I think, the Guard tried to kill me without listening to reason. Maybe the other guards will think I'm one of them. I want to try to run to the room containing the Twisted Flesh as fast as I can. Also, which direction was the noise coming from? Trying not to run towards it hah.

[Stats on Arm/Leg pieces?]

[DR of 30. I mean to say all when I wrote about the armor above, the torso, arms and legs provide 30 while the head provides 45]

The scream seems to be coming from the courtyard outside which can to be traversed to get to where the samples were kept. It may be possible to get to the perservatory by heading east through the library but the corridors seem to be under the influence of the warp and may lead nowhere.

[Also the glaive adds a -2 to attempts to HT tests when doing damage]

[What do you mean -2 on HT tests? Whats the event that happens on the weapon strike to occur the health test?]

At any rate, if it seems unique I'll clip it onto my back and head east through the library, unless Nurge commands it I'd prefer not to do battle with a demon of Tzeentch.

[Tests to stay conscious or avoid dying at -1*HP, -2*HP, etc]

Ahead you see an Inevitable Guard, back to you heading down the corridor and turning left at the split ahead. The corridor is well lit in both directions after the split but there is no indication of where either corridors head. As you proceed down the hall the walls seem to ebb and flow, sometimes blowing musty air as they move.

I'm going to go ahead and coat my Powersword with all of my Lurgash diseasy-poison stuff. Just pour it all over the blade. Does the Invebitable Guard notice me? If he's not paying attention I'm going to use the doorway as cover, lean my sword against the frame, and aim/brace for one second my laspistol-then fire the next second (probably take me 3 seconds total). If he does notice me, I'll attempt to close the distance, but not attack (fuck that attack-move penalty lol). I move at 5 yards a turn.

As you pull the trigger the guard turns around reaching for a large pistol on his hip.

[You get a shot off first but he will be retaliating if you could add a defense roll as well as your attack and damage]

AWW YISS, I'MA FIRIN MA LASSAAAA.

Two seconds of aiming, and I put my sword down to brace my pistol with both hands.

Fine Laspistol Accuracy = 7, +1 for Brace +1 For 2 Second Aim, 10 Shots RoF Bonus +2 = 12 Bonus

Marksman (LasPistol skill) = 12, +12 = 24

[Roll] 3d6 [Roll] With a Rcl of 1, for each 1 I am under the skill check, another laser shot will hit (Assuming he's not too far away).

Each pistol shot will deal 3d burn damage, with an armor divisor of 2. Assuming it's against his torso armor of 30-it means I'll do very little damage per shot as he has an effective torso DR of 15.

[-1 for range, 3 yards away]

9 shots fly from your muzzle landing squarely in his chest, he seems unfazed.

[Need a defense from you]

You feel the heat of a ballistic round flash past your left hip, you slid back away the doorway just in time to avoid becoming a bullet sponge. The plate of the guards helmet remains blank but you can feel the rage emanating from him.

[Your round]
