What comes to mind for me is playing the Barbarian's Spellbook... an intelligent talking book (masterwork tool for knowledge arcana checks) that uses illusion spells to explain things to the illiterate barbarian, a picture book. Makes knowledge checks, cast spells, supports.

If it can help a melee focused mundane against a Dragon, I'm all over it. You okay if I sort out flight, energy resistance and anything else that can be used for a genocidal war against Dragons?

I think a lot of the maneuvers I have access to can help with the 'melee' thing.

Oh, we should make sure we don't all pick the same Greater Power.

As a pair of swords, seems fitting that I should pick 'Speed'. HASTE, HO!

Osle: How many "items" are you allowing in this game?

Osle: How many "items" are you allowing in this game?

Up to 6.

Hmm, dwarf barbarian 10 with Improved Toughness sounds tough enough for you? Kinda makes sense for him to decide to go solo a castle full of giants, in particular with all the voices inside his head. :P

Can the dwarf be a frenzied berserker?

So that we can have huge panic attacks when the dwarf has panic attacks  :lmao
Remember, you asked for it! :p

(click to show/hide)
Feel free to suggest changes to his build.

Can I call dibs on a hat?

Wait, what would WBL be able to be spent on?....
As already pointed out, you spend it on enchanting yourself.

Thought: Balance (fill it just right and it evens out your weight distribution), Bluff (who knows what you might have in there), Disguise (stick it over your head), Profession (Burglar), Swim (contains inflated pockets for buoyancy)
Sounds good.

What comes to mind for me is playing the Barbarian's Spellbook... an intelligent talking book (masterwork tool for knowledge arcana checks) that uses illusion spells to explain things to the illiterate barbarian, a picture book. Makes knowledge checks, cast spells, supports.
Illiterate Frenzied Berseker with a magic book? Souds excellent! :smirk

Any important question I missed?

Only a comment in the Intelligent Item thread about how they kind of can't take DIF due to prerequisites. XD

Just a minor nitpick,  but you accidentally attributed a quote from ketaro to me. Just FYI. ;)

How will combat work? That is, will the Dwarf be taking all the hits or will the items get attacked as well? Will this be different for different items (armor vs ring)?

Can the wondrous items use item combination rules? That is, could Venn's Gauntlets of Ogre Power spend WBL to make themselves Gauntlets of Ogre Power of the Master Strategist (spending an additional 50% of the lower price as per the MIC)?

Swords, armor, magic ring, haversack, spellbook... I feel like I got on the bandwagon a little late, considering the campaign was something I threw out there.  :-\

On the other hand, I believe there's room for a cape, decanter of endless water, or belt.

As youkai-forged blades, do I even have HP or am I as invulnerable as a normal dumb version? :lmao

Clanjos: If you want to be either the Armor or the Haversack, it looks like skydragonknight is going Animated shield and I can only be one of those things.

Depends. Dwarf will be the primary target, but if your own actions are too flashy, smart enemies may decide to start using Sunder on the talking piece of gear that is shooting lighting at them. :p

Yes, that's what I was trying to say.

As youkai-forged blades, do I even have HP or am I as invulnerable as a normal dumb version? :lmao
Hmm, good point. Added a clause for that.

I'm going to take a shot in the dark on open player spots and guess that anyone is open to stat up their intelligent item, but the Dwarf will only take up to 6 or so items with him on his suicide mission. :D

He can only count to 6.  :lmao

It also gains a bonus to its Nat armor equal to its highest mental ability score, and an equal hardness score.

Just making sure this is intended before I write +20 natural armor down. ;)

So, if I take Mystic Dream, or the other Ancient Temple feats, would they be of any benefit to our Dorfy friend? :O

There is nothing requiring youkai-forged blades to be swords. Just slashing weapons. So...

WIP because of such questions as 'what exactly should the other school be'.

I would like to point out that the dwarf doesn't have two weapon fighting  :lmao

And if he is able to get away with the AT thing of counting as having TWF while in an AT stance granted by Raineh, well, lets hope some one else chooses some martial schools to grant the dwarf! Woooo party conflict is on the rise!

I'm making a scary hat!

QUESTION: If we enchant ourselves with a stat boost, does the stat boost effect both the II and the user or just the User?

QUESTION #2: Can I be a Cursed Item?

And our dwarf needs shoes!!!

Edit: Accidentally doubleposted instead of editing but editing again now

Needs more ACFs....At least Divine Item.
Psionic Item.....
Pretty much just copypasta ACFs of Arcane Item with some words replaced  :lol

Could an intelligent Handy Haversack spend WBL on its contents? Could it use Mage Hand or a similar spell to manipulate said contents (take things out of itself and use them)?

EDIT: When an arcane item casts spells, do they use the items actions, not the wielder's as with maneuvers? Asking because the ACF doesn't specify.
