Blood Aflame does feel like it could use a boost.  Even at 1x, having fast healing up to full hp instead of 0.5x up to half hp doesn't feel like two whole ritual levels more powerful, especially when it loses the DR.

Also, once you're done with the comparison you'll want to look at the tables up top.  Flesh of the Fallen isn't accurate at a minimum.

Hematic Strike
Level: Ritual Warrior 1
Ritual Duration: 1 day/sacrificial hit dice
Range: Personal
Saving Throw: None

A little lifeforce leeches from the struck creature into the ritual-wielder. When the ritual-wielder successfully strikes an opponent with an attack, he gains temporary hit points equal to one half the damage dealt, up to 1 hit point per hit dice of the sacrifice. The temporary hit points disappear 1 hour later. These hitpoints do not stack.

On its own it looks fine, I'll compare it to the other rituals once all the fiddling is done so I can do them all at the same time.

What would you say to Blood Aflame becoming a permanent Haste?

I'll be closing down the forum posts and shifting everything to the PDF, I think. Maintaining everything is a bit difficult.

I think that Haste will fit in with the power level of level 5 rituals.

Ugh, no offense but I hate threads that are just links to a file.  Just stop changing everything and you won't have to maintain it in multiple places.  :P

Blood Aflame
Level: Ritual Warrior 5, Ritualist 5
Ritual Duration: 1 day/sacrificial hit dice
Range: Personal
Saving Throw: None

The ritual-wielder feels his blood quicken, his mind sharpen, and his limbs move at ever increasing speed. He gains the benefits of haste.

And too late, too many little changes made.  :P

At the levels we're talking about Blood Aflame doesn't raise any red flags with me.

Ritual Magic. Got all the rituals in, formatted, and cleaned up. Hopefully not too many changes needed, although there's a fair number of damage reduction and life leech rituals of various kinds. Might need to cut a few of them.

In that case it will have to happen when I'm not at work.

Flood of Life also grants the Con score of the sacrifice so they're not exactly the same.

I will definitely agree with that, some changes should be made.

Ritual Magic. Updated with a finalized list of what rituals belong to which class. Aside from cleaning up rituals, rituals are complete.

Was just noodling around, and realized you could go Arcanist 2/Animus Savant 1/Arcanist 3/Cabalistic Thaumaturge 10/Painwarper 3/Arcanist 1 (there's a few levels that can probably be swapped out from Arcanist) and get 9th level spells and 6th level rituals with a very minimal investment. I kind of like that build...

It's not, really, it's just grabbing one level of the accelerated rituals class, and then the dual-casting class to advance both. The additional PrC at the end is just a nice to have, as it works well in melee as a caster.

Edit: Same link as before, but now has the Animus Savant class.

Ritual Magic.

Bloodlight Preceptor added now.

Still need to go back and redo some of the rituals.
