You open the hatch. Looking out, you can only see an endless darkness. Somehow, though, it feels different than the unlit sections of the ship. Less dense.

"Hello!" I call into the abyss.

"Anyone there?" I ask the abyss.

The abyss does not answer. It never does. You're pretty sure it's blocked your number, which is sad, since you totally thought you had a thing going on.

The abyss does not appear moved. There is the surface of the ship to walk about on, though. That might move.

Louise climbs up the ladder and peeks careful eyes over the hatch to look at whoever becca is talking to. "Yes!"
