Sam: Hmm, I don't think so?

Sam looks at you.

Sam: I've been here for about a week, I guess?

As Sam says this, the waitress returns with your meals. She sets a white bowl filled with thick white soup before Sam and white plates with pale sandwiches before you and Holy. Sam's soup seems to have cubical chunks of some white tofu-like material in it, and your sandwiches have long rectangular prisms of a similar white substance next to them, like a side dish.

Louise waits a moment, to make sure there is no social faux pas associated with starting to eat too fast.

Louise begins to eat, tasting everything. No doubt, like the Lunes, each item, while it looks similar, doubtlessly has an individual taste.

Everything is almost, but not quite, completely flavorless. You can tell that the rectangular prism things were fried, so maybe they're supposed to be fries, but they really don't have the right consistency. The sandwich is similar; the bread has a bread-like texture, but its a bit too soft, and the filling is vaguely chicken-like, but not really.

Sam appears to be having similar troubles with her soup.

At least it isn't spicy Louise smiles and enjoys the food and the company. Louise clears her mouth and turns to Holy. "Do All Lunes go out to observe at some point in their life?"

Holy swallows the part of her sandwich she was chewing. She appears to be enjoying her meal.

Holy: It is not required, but most do.
