How would you adapt this to have a more psionic flavor? A Psycantor, if you will, as a middle ground between the Erudite and Psionic Artificer? Something that combines a bit of soulspark and psicrystal, and with the psionic disciplines rather than magical schools? It seems a very interesting little class, but I've always liked the combination of soul and mind magic together!

So, all WotC 3.5e, unupdated 3.0e, Dragon Magazine, authorized second party (Dragonlance and similar) sources... What are some of the absolute best forms to use with a max manifester level Metamorphosis? Assume you are cranking out ML15 variant Skins of the Proteus for your entire party. What's the best stuff to turn into?

What's the best for various mobility options? Best for constitution and natural armor? Best for high ability scores in general? Best generalist forms? Best for weird useful attacks? Best for having lots of powerful high accuracy attacks? Best for poisoning someone or doing things that are poison-like? Best for long term poison milking? Best for useful racial skills? Best for doing tasks like burrowing through stone or ferrying people or heavy things or construction work? Best for invoking religious awe in various cultures (appearing to be like various angels, dragons, coatls, and similar intrinsically sorts of authority figure forms)? Best for hiding? Best for being fearsome but still totally having the ability to speak and useful thumbs and hands? Best for not being too crazy weird looking but still able to bring the hurt at a moment's notice? Best for being really intimidatingly fearsome? Most inherently beautiful even if your charisma isnt high? Cutest while still being capable? Best for nonlethal combat options? Best for getting useful types and subtypes that do nifty things? Best for having novel anatomy that should function via the power? Etc. etc.

What are some spells that target obscure things other than hit points, bypass common immunities like ability score damage, that don't care if it has insane Fortitude saves that it doesn't fail even on a one, and work perfectly fine with Assay Spell Resistance/True Casting?

Hi there, I was wondering what the major 3.5e ways of handling 'bigger numbers than you can handle' Kaiju is. The 'Way above Colossal sized' things with near arbitrary amounts of hit points, saves, constitution, strength, spell resistance, a list of condition immunities a mile long, which also have solid ranged attacks of various sorts? Anyone have any standard or typical methods and tactics?  Or the 'main sets of things to try to see if they are immune to this'?

I found an interesting form from Dragon Magazine 352. Garuda, a humanoids flying form with 2 na, 40' average fly, +8 to spot in the day while flying, two 1d4 claws, and arguably an interesting ex special attack when making dive bomb style ranged attacks.

[Recruitment/Seeking/Skype] Players needed for a 'Theme' Rogue Trader game!

Hi people.  I have been, for quite some time, playing in a 'Theme/Radicals' Rogue Trader game, on Skype.  We have been using this game in a nonstandard way, as we haven't been setting particular times, and have been instead using Skype as a sort of play by post.  As such, it isn't a traditional 'be here at this particular time' sort of thing.

Anyway, what's going on is that the player characters are in the retinue of a loyalist-but-radical Rogue Trader (played by one of the players), but outside of the game, a bunch of the players won't be able to continue playing the game.  So we need some new blood, some people who are willing to either step into one of the many canonical retinue members as is (for several existing players have to leave) or reimagine those characters somewhat, or take control of one of the existing npc retinue, or expand on one of the not-truly-fleshed-out retinue members.  This game is NOT primarily combat based; it's social, management of resources, and 'project' based.  There will also be a list of houserules.  As it will take some time to get up to speed as it were, we only want some people who can dedicate a bit of time to reading some summaries of ideas and what's gone on so far.

This game, as described earlier, is a 'theme' game. What this means is that we have a basic overarching story that we want to tell with this group, and it isn't just, 'make a standard explorator and jump in'.  The short of it is that the Rogue Trader has been collecting Idealistic Radicals who have a plan (or at least a dream -- but an idea that is plausible is a good start) to go to a place where they can conceivably break some rules, in order to achieve the goals of making money, doing something to reduce the amount of stagnation in their corner of the Imperium, and improve the lives of some group of people that the Imperium doesn't seem to care about. A real sort of group of types that want to do well by doing good, as it were.

Another thing.  We want people who can commit a good amount of time to actually get replies up, and read the game, and such.  It doesn't have to be time at any given time of day, but it has to be regular and you have to have some time and energy available to roleplay and do some meta-planning!  The idea is that the characters will have goals that will further drive the plot, and it won't just be simple 'adventure and randomly see what the Gm throws at us', it's more 'come up with a particular goal and spend effort to achieve it'.  So as a player you have to have some drive to go with that of your character, okay?

REQ: Replacement GM for Skype text-based, already-going Rogue Trader Game!

So I want to double check and ask: Does no one want to see the private text that is my thread in the game, to see what Canjowolf's game looks like? To do that, you would have to officially join as a player, and be an 'adviser'.  Anyone interested?
