How does a White Dragonspawn of Tiamat become a Dragonborn of Bahamut? :twitch

Holy crap... I just discovered the Fire Walker PrC... Now I want to make a Wardancer/Fire Walker... So I can set all the enemies ablaze with my first dance, and then keep dancing and leaping through the flames of their burning bodies as I continue to slash them!  :evillaugh  :flame

The class is so easy to get into, I could go Wardancer 3/Firewalker 2/Wardancer +1 to start... The dip would also let me get a 3rd level stance and maneuver when I take the 4th level of Wardancer.

Phae... you have too many versions of this character for me to count.  Did you see the Wardancer ACF?

I know... you guys write awesome homebrew faster than I can play it. :P

I see it now... and I must have it!! OK... I think I'm quite settled on my character's path... now I just have to figure out the optimal way to build her. :D

Edit: Would you approve a custom feat to let the Okilei affect multiple targets per usage with her racial Mindsong ability? Say 1 per character level per usage?

Also, would you let items that normally affect bardic music also work on the Mindsong? The ability specifies that feats which work for Bardic music also work for it.

Edit2: And.... another question... Morale bonuses for an Okilei are doubled. Bardic music bonuses are morale bonuses. Would that doubling only affect the bonus she benefits from personally, or everyone she affects with her music?

Edit3: OK... another question. What stats should I use for a 3.5 version of the whip-dagger (Or some other less-useless version of the whip)? Or can I use the Scorpion Whip from Pathfinder? It looks like a 3.5 version would be a melee reach (10') weapon that does 1d4 lethal damage, which has a +2 bonus on disarm, and that you can trip with.

Lol.  Guilty as charged... but now that you've settled on this build, you can use Wyrm Warrior for Legion.

I think Focused Performer may do this anyway...

Yes, that seems to be the intent.

Only the bonuses she benefits from personally.

Yeah, use the stats for the scorpion whip.

Focused Performance, you mean. I hadn't seen that feat before, but I found it:

(click to show/hide)
So... when the feat says "Spend 1 use to"... does that mean one extra use, or one use period? I don't see anywhere that it says that these are extra usages spent.

Basically you spend a use on the performance, and a use to modify it.

The more and more I think about it, I don't think Dragonfire Inspiration is really worth two feats.

1) It does fire damage, for which resistance is common (barring picking a different race to change the damage type or something).
2) If you have Power Attack, normal Inspire Courage is worth +3 damage, which is almost the same as the average 3.5 from DFI.
3) With the second feat I saved, I could take Two-Weapon Fighting, which since there is no penalty for wielding two one-handed weapons, would basically double my damage output.

I realize that DFI might benefit my party-mates more, though. So what do you guys think?

Can't you just be Dragonborn or a Kobold?

I do charge 280ft. with 5 attacks, so the DFI I useful to me, but play what you want imo.

I could, but I don't want to... I went back and forth, and ultimately decided to stick with my original race choice. I'm kind of sick of dragons and kobolds, and want to play something different. One of the abilities it has is to let my allies reroll saves, and it gets a +2 to Charisma.

Do you have Power Attack? The damage is about the same with that.

DFI helps my DPS, yes, but I don't even have distance arrows yet (isn't there a mundane arrow that has more range?) so I can't reliably keep UP with this guy's charge damage. And I'm a divine gish, I have my own damage buffs already. Go ahead and replace it. :D

I accidentally posted this in the character sheet thread...

Quote
OK... since I am a stubborn ass, and do not want to change my race, but I do however want something that works like Dragonfire Inspiration, preferably without the draconic theme... how about the following feat? I figure being a latent psychic should be worth as much as being a wannabe dragon...

Resonant Feedback

You've learned to imbue your songs with the power of your mind.

Prerequisites: Inspire Courage bardic music ability, must have a power point reserve, Concentration 4 ranks

Benefits: By expending your psionic focus when using Inspire Courage, you may psychically charge the weapons of your allies (including yourself), causing them to vibrate at a high frequency. Instead of the normal benefits of Inspire Courage, your allies' weapons do an extra 1d4 points of sonic damage per point of bonus to attack and damage that your Inspire Courage normally does. This replaces all other effects normally produced by Inspire Courage, but otherwise works the same (duration, range, etc).

In addition, any creatures that use echolocation have that ability disrupted within 20 feet of anyone holding a weapon affected by this ability.
Besides... the bard should have been a psionic class, anyway. :D Although I wish they'd dropped all the stuff about performance and singing, anyway, and called it something else for that version.

That's a pretty damn cool feat.  I like it!  (Hey, post it in homebrew somewhere so others can make use of it.)

Whoo! Now I have a free feat. :P I decided to go back to using the scorpion whips and drop power attack, just because it's fucking awesome that she'll be dancing around wielding two flaming, singing whips! :D

Lol.  She's psionic, why not take a level in pyrokineticist?  Then you can have some flaming whips to go with your flaming whips

Funny you should mention that...

Nah. I think I'm better off continuing either of the classes I'm already in, to get more of their abilities. Maybe later. :P If it were a ToB PrC, then yeah... Hell... you konw... someone should write a martial adept adaptation of that class.  :D

Hey guys, maybe we should see if the kitten team wants to join up with us? Since we both only have 3 people each so far... We can change our name to the Fuzzy Angels of Righteous Asskicking, or something like that. :P
