Half-Lich Template (Looking for One)
« on: June 25, 2018, 09:50:00 AM »
Anyone have a good Half-Lich template? Kind of like how a Dhampir is a half-vampire but I need one for liches.

Thanks,
N

Not really but Necropoliton comes to mind as a "lesser" Lich. Spectral Mage, FR:MoF, also kind of comes across like a failed Lich ritual resulting in a Ghost-like apparition of their former selves. Insane and desperately trying to find their possessions almost as if finding their phylactery to finish the ritual would fix everything.

Otherwise, just take two levels of Savage Progression?

That'll work perfect. Thanks!

Liches are undead, often decayed corpses. How could they have children. Maybe try making a homebrew of someone who failed transformation/did not end it.

This is a bizarre homebrew campaign. Through a series of mishaps an ancient lich is slowly becoming one of the PCs. Kind of like  "phasing into" the PCs body from another plane. So a transition here makes sense. Having straight up children does seem to make little sense but when magic is involved strange things can happen.

Some people really are :  Bad To The Bone.

There is at least 1 obscure undead that is the product of a pregnancy gone wrong.
I don't remember which, just fluff on speed-read not mechanics.
One of the writers musta had a bad weekend with the girlfriend.
