Shouldn't the Tarrasque be threatening Jingu? >.>

Where do you think Jingu is?  :D

Course it has to stomp on GLORIOUS MEDVED STONE JUGGERNAUTS on the way to eat Not-Tokyo Tower.

I updated my armor to be pathfinder, not 3.0 OA. It gives me a -1 to attack (ACP + non-proficiency), but in the long run will be better (if I can manage to get a mithril breastplate someday :D).

And so... I have to ask... what's the ruling on using Shapesand to emulate special materials? :P

I noticed you had a lot of shapesand there.  :3  Lesse....

Quote
Shapesand is a special kind of wasteland soil that is psychoreactive; it can be sculpted into any form according to your will. The new object is made of sand, but serves as a normal item of the same sort. A shapesand hammer functions just like an ordinary hammer, and a shapesand waterskin is just as watertight as an ordinary skin.

From the looks of it, looks like you can't made an adamantine sword out of sand, because it's a sand sword.  It still acts as a sword since being a sword is an aspect of its shape rather than its material.  Probably for the best to rule it that way so you don't shapesand it into antimatter shapesand.  I admit I waffle on this sometimes, as from what I can tell you can shapesand things into alchemical items too.  Not that I suggest it, as it would imply the shapesand is used when its tossed.  Care of offer a compelling argument otherwise?

(Note to self: Make Shapesand Golem.  Play as Carnage....)

Riiiiiight, Shapesand. I knew I was forgetting something! I think Berid's equipment is done.

EDIT: BTW, Frog, here's the formatting you want for your sheet:

I think everyone might be done then save Flaming (I already pinged him though, I think he saw my reply).

I should get that intro post typed up.

Nope. Perfectly fair. I'd rule the same way as a DM... but felt compelled to ask as a PC.  :lmao

Edit: Very much looking forward to getting started in this game. :D It sounds like a very promising premise.

Most sheets are done I think right?  I want to strike while the iron is hot, mind if I start things now?  We shouldn't actually enter any kind of combat right away, so even unfinished sheets should be fine (I'm still checking over who has what).  Any objections?

I am definitely all for it. :D

And yeah, RD I'm also for saying our characters met on the road, after realizing they were both from Jingu. They might not necessarily like each other (one dumped Cha and maxed Wis, and the other did vice-versa, one is LG and the other is LN borderline evil... so they're probably nearly polar opposites XD ), but probably see it as their duty to get along or something. :P

Yay things are moving.  Also the last post has caused me to realize I never DID post the local languages per nation I made.  I'll post it here, and also in the DM Notepad area too.  From the looks of it, it may free up some language slots for some.

Chrysanthemum: Draconic (It was effectively Latin)
Taphos: Giant (The nation was founded by them, it stuck)
Rubicon: Common
Claverdown: Common
Espere: Elven
Greater Hinnom Confederacy: Common (Not actually a separate nation, but Common is the Linga Franca, so its spoken during diplomatic relations)
Jingu: Goblin
Medved: Dwarven
Promotor: Common
Mabinog: Elven
Alaozar: Halfling

Yay, now I need to reshuffle my languages. You could've just said 'don't use the PHB stuff', as that's not the most accurate. :P

So, rearranged to Common, Goblin, Dwarven, Elven, and Draconic. In one level, this includes Giant! :lmao

More that you're pairing the languages up, when you could've just said that X nations use a language. XD

I wound up getting an extra language (or 2... I forget) from it... Are the outer planar languages going to be totally useless? I guess it doesn't really matter as much, with the Linguistics skill in the game. I absolutely love that change. It's minor, but very cool.

Hmm... this might be a skill worth boosting (by putting more ranks in it, etc).

Well not really... but:
1) I didn't realize we had one (hadn't looked over everyone else's sheets in detail) and
2) it's a class skill for me (and I'm RPing a more bookwormy type of character). So it made sense to stick at least 1 rank in it...

Without more of a boost, I won't be deciphering any ancient, forgotten languages, though. :P

So does torture... which was another reason to take this as a skill. :smirk

In more seriousness, I'll try to make sure we cover different languages somewhat.

Edit: We can play the "good cop, bad cop" routine. :P
