The arrangement we've come to is: I can play while she's at work or otherwise indisposed so long as I make sure the dishes are done. Seems downright reasonable considering I'm basically the housewife in this relationship.

SPECIAL in this game is a bit more scarce than it used to be, due to the fact there are no more skill points and as such, SPECIAL points are much more important. Only way you're going to start out with a high stat is if you dump others, and although you do have infinite level ups with which to get more SPECIAL points, the grind is real, as later levels take a significant longer amount of time and effort, and there are a lot, and i do mean a lot, of perks to choose from. So take the time, and plan out in advance what is more important to you, and how you're going to get there.

But yeah, it was a bit of a shock when I got the the initial stat selection and realized they all start at 1 with only enough points to to get 4's across the board--as opposed to every other fallout where they all start at 5 and you have additional points to distribute on top of that.
Ended up dumping Cha down to 2, putting a 5 in Int and Luck, and keeping the rest at 4--though I might mess with it once I get out of the vault.

V.A.T.S is kind of weird in FO4, as there's no display on the Pip Boy for the AP cost of weapons, and there's no indication when modding a weapon if you're increasing or decreasing the AP cost for that weapon. Which kind of sucks if you want to use V.A.T.S, since trial and error is basically the only way you'll find out what weapons are better to use with VATS or not.
Rule of thumb, though, lighter is better, and pistols are less AP cost than rifles. Fire rate has something to do with it for semi-automatics, but seems like it doesn't matter for automatics at all. Reload speed might be a factor as well, but i don't know for sure.
In hindsight, after spending a good amount of hours in FO4, i'm leaning towards thinking that Gunslinger trumps Rifleman, at least until you find the gauss rifle. Truth be told, aiming down sights can be a pain somewhat, and pistols have much better hip fire accuracy than rifles do. 10mm is only found in pistols, so that's a whole ammunition type you're missing out on if you go rifle-exclusive like i did - whereas you can even make a bolt-action .50 pistol eventually. You'll definitely lose out on a bit of damage in comparison to rifles, but if you're sniping anyway that's not really such a major loss, and in close-quarter combat, pistols are better than rifles in most cases. Although Shotgun does use Rifleman as a perk, but then again, laser/plasma scatterguns with pistol grips count for Gunslinger for a similar damage potential...

Mental health institutions piss me off to no end. It's all fucking pseudoscience and placebos. Like, my brother has a brain tumor and my mother has had chronic migraines her entire life and I have a mental illness, yet no one has ever given me an x-ray or brain scan or whatever to look at my head to see if there's something physically wrong in there. Or maybe a blood test, to see what vitamins I'm deficient in. I mean, is it too much to ask for you to have some real evidence before you give me an official diagnosis and proscribe me a drug? Evidence other than the self-report of a mentally ill person? Send me home with one of those FitBit things for a week, monitor my sleep and exercise habits, body temp, heartrate. Maybe stick a mic in there so you can hear the sorts of things that are going on in my life. There is a wealth of information you could be gathering to get an accurate depiction of what is wrong and how to correct it, but no one uses it. And if your drugs take a fucking month or two to show results, maybe they aren't actually effective. I mean, a lot can happen in a month that would make it seem like it's working, not the least of which is the placebo effect, or hey, maybe my circumstances get better and I feel better. And then you chalk it up as the drug "working" so you can milk me for drug money for the next several years... Some of them have actual addictive properties, and you wonder why people are different when they come off of them. Hint: it's not because it was "working." Oh, and fucking therapy? And that by not thinking anything of mentioning it, you're liable to insult people at random. Scientific validity doesn't make it appropriate.

If anyone's looking for a christmas movie that's actually really good, i can't recommend Hogfather enough. Terry Pratchett is amazing, and they did a really good job adapting the book for the movie. 3 hours of pure fun. Very little wasn't adapted, and most of the dialogue is straight from the book to the movie.

This is something i agree with. A radroach should not be able to harm you if you're wearing power armor. It's not even that hard to do, "If dmg <= X, then dmg = 0" and bam, if the damage isn't above a certain threshold, it gets reduced to 0 automatically. Then everything that is above this threshold gets reduced by a certain amount based on the DT formula that i have no idea how it works.
It's like in games you can, eventually, shoot down a tank with an M4 given enough time and bullets. No. IRL the most you could hope to accomplish by shooting a tank with 5.56 is eventually getting all of the paintjob off of it.
There's just no pleasing some ppl....

Hell, it might lead to some enormous overkill (but hey, you're meant to be hip-firing miniguns), but why not just +6 strength? If 5's average, then the average man is now buff as fuck, and you don't make the only reason to get high strength even if you're using melee 'run into people... in power armour'.

Bear in mind, all these cores have been laying around (or being used to power buildings) for 200+ years, and if there's one thing we know about the prewar companies in Fallout it's that the advertised specs for their products are hilariously exaggerated bullshit. We're lucky they work at all, and don't have some horribly fatal side effect like spewing a cloud of deadly radiation everywhere you go or randomly exploding.

I could be remembering that wrong. I know it bumps strength to 11, but since power armor also increases how long you can hold your breath under water I'm pretty sure it's boosting END too. Will have to check next time I play. As for it "setting" the stat to 11 rather than given a +6 bonus or whatever, part of that could be a mechanics issue: All SPECIAL stats cap out at 11. I haven't done a lot of testing or seen "under the hood" yet to know for sure how power armor works mathematically, so it's possible it does have a +X to strength bonus and it just causes you to cap out. As for your last complaint there, I'm not sure I follow you, but there are lots of reasons to invest in strength thanks to the perk system.

Between the initial wave of power-armored soldiers and the 200 years of scavvers that followed, I always just assume I'm finding somebody's old stash. God knows I store stuff all over the place while exploring to stay unencumbered, and often have trouble remembering where I've put things.

I have no idea how you're not. Raiders carry a variety of ammo types especially as you get into higher levels and they start carrying better weapons (or at least pipe rifles re-chambered to use different calibers), gunners carry a variety of the better small guns and energy ammo rounds, and synths give you buttloads of fusions cells. Just clearing the ArcJet building with Paladin Danse (one of the earliest sidequests you run into) got me up to nearly a thousand rounds for my laser musket. If by "earlier in the game" you mean "within the first 2-3 quests" then maybe, but by the time you make it to Diamond City you should be rolling in ammo.
As for pipe guns, those are a great source of screws, metal, and sometimes copper, which are essential for settlement building and general crafting. (Provided you had the sense to take the Scrapper perk.) They might not sell for much, but that's just more incentive to scrap them.

The thing that doesn't make sense is power armor being this magical thing that nobody can figure out how to use. Honestly the whole "no one can figure out how to repair a power armor frame, but you can completely re-engineer a plasma rifle, build working terminals from scrap, and make machinegun turrets out of a handful of frigging zippo lighters" is less believable. I realize that power armor requiring training is cannon--but given that it's stupid cannon, I'm glad Bethesda decided to ignore it.

Now you're just being silly. How is that any different than the random stat boosts you get from normal clothing? ie: Army Fatigues give you +1 to Str and wearing a trenchcoat makes you more perceptive? Or the prewar clothes from 3/NV that make you more agile? Personally, I find guys in suits taking multiple bullets to the face without going down more harmful to my suspension of disbelief, but it's a game. As long as HP is a thing you're going to have goofiness like that.

yup, thats one of the 3 :pI do remember for sure that the build used the Body Leech PrC from the Mind's Eye (http://archive.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/psm/20040925a) archive (and maybe Thrallherd), but I haven't been able to find the original. I think it was from Caelic, but I could be mistaken, as I seem to have convoluted his Boogeyman build and this one...

A carefully played beast-bonded witch could be nearly unkillable in PF past level 8, and could be a lot of fun to play as well. I put this one (http://www.minmaxboards.com/index.php?topic=813.msg281581#msg281581) together with a raktavarna familiar, but an arbiter inevitable would be more powerful (but would force you to be LN instead of LE). The build idea is basically a "behind the scenes manipulator", and is based off the idea of being able to buff your allies from a mile away using the Scar hex and other things (from the Witch handbook on this board).

Pretty much (visibility: hidden just leaves a big blank spot). Hadn't even thought of using their own jQuery (though I'm sure the libraries are there for it, and Greesemonkey can likely load it anyway if it weren't). I've been writing a lot of raw JS lately so that's what was fresh :P
I do know in a lot of instances, jQuery functions tend to be a lot prettier, though the last couple sites I've worked on have enough overhead from both...I usually just append the function to another script and include a call out for it. Truth be told, it's been more rewriting than writing - minification ftw!

I'm still here even after I moved onto 5e because I draw heavily on this place for inspiration in various ways. I can't find a 5e community similar to how this one is for 3.5. I haven't found a 5e community that has a similar outlook to this one when it came to 3.5, which in my view is "here's what exists, here's what can legally be done, figure it out for yourself whether it should be allowed or not." Too few people accept that every D&D table is run by different people who don't all agree on what's the right power level. The mechanical discussion of 5e gets too easily lost amongst all the type of people who think all the toned-down stuff in 5e is still powerful, as if Greater Weapon Master/Sharpshooter compares to the shenanigans of 3.5 power attack, and there's still a lot of people who won't RTFM and carry over their rule memories from old editions.

I suppose it depends what you're taught with. I got Java for a bit, then had to play with C, and then Java again... with bit-level manipulation of .wav files.
In the end, I'd rather have types than not. Having types means that I can at least work out what the fuck my problem is; dynamic typing means that what would be a compile-time error can get delegated to runtime... particularly with python involved, since it won't object to passing something horrifically invalid until I actually call the damn method. Worse, it can interpret the damn thing and keep going with borked values...

Hasn't been quite himself lately, and we discovered a large, dark hairless lump on one side. May or may not be cancerous yet, but the vet wants so much money he might expire by the time we had it removed.
Whatever the growth was on my cat it disappeared as quickly as it showed up. It's just a white hairless spot now. Friend from the humane society suggests is a scab/abscess.

A summoner is basically the worst possible build to go through the Labyrinth with. Maybe try using Summon Raging Spirit instead of zombies and skeletons?

It's pretty complicated. The current President, Dilma, was a Petrobras Director and possibly knew about the money that was being funneled out of the state-run company through overbilling on contracts. The companies who were in on the scheme have very deep ties with the Worker's Party, the president and ex-president's party. So, the money grabbing scheme is revealed, and the prosecutor's start offering plea deals to get people to start talking.
And talking they did. It uncovers a shitton of other corruption scandals, and some of them involve the president and the ex-president directly, especially the one declaration by Delcídio do Amaral. So this massive Federal Police operation by the name of "Lava Jato" starts, as well as several others, and the evidence starts to mount.
It's decided that it's best to leave all of the "Lava Jato" non-politicians to be judged by a single judge that has access to the entirety of the operation, and that's judge Sérgio Moro. Now, moro is an expert in money laundering and political crimes, and has basically prepared his whole life for this, going to Italy to study the political scandals there and getting his Master's & his PHD in money laundering and political crimes. He has also participated in the earlier 2004 Mensalão proceedings as an expert consultant.
So he's, quite possibly, the best man to be in charge of this whole thing. But, the corrupt politicians don't like that. Because he's amazing at what he does, if you go before him, it's all but certain that you're going to get convicted, and because he's so careful and a perfectionist, you have almost no chance of getting the sentence overturned.
So, Lava Jato uncovers a ranch & a three-story apartment that are used by the ex-president Lula, but they're not in his name. There are several pieces of evidence that show that the ranch & apartment ARE his, including news articles, but the properties aren't in his name because TAXES, and, you know, because he didn't actually had the money to buy such extravagant pieces of properties.
Unless, that is, he stole the money. Which is another thing entirely, but just the fact he was hiding property is a tax crime, and so, the ex-president is criminally charged with that.
They wiretapped the ex-president's communication, as well as those of several people connected to him, and that's where the current shitstorm starts.
Last week is when the ex-president was criminally charged, and the prosecutor's asked that he's incarcerated pending trial.
In a wiretapped communication, the ex-president is seen talking to a political scientist who basically tells him "If you go to trial, you will lose. You will be convicted, there is no legal basis for your defense. BUT, you have an ace on your sleeve, fucking USE IT." and then goes on to clarify what the "ace" is:
Lula needs to grab himself a position that grants him the privilege of being judged only by the Supreme Court of Justice, like, say, a Ministry.
And that's exactly what he did. Dilma appointed him, and the nomination happened yesterday morning.
But Moro wasn't going to sit still. Oh no. Because Lula now couldn't be judged by a 'normal' judge and was going to the Supreme Court, he used that fact to de-classify the wiretapping, and basically threw shit on the fan.
All his wiretappings became public record, and the media went crazy. It was like throwing blood on a pool full of sharks and piranhas.
One such recording, Lula says that the Supreme Court of Justice are a bunch of cowards, as well as the Superior Court of Justice, and that the head of the lower & upper houses of Congress are "fucked" and the only thing he's afraid of is the "Republic of Curitiba".
Republic of Curitiba refers to Sérgio Moro, the judge, and is a pejorative way of referring to the independence through which he has conducted everything so far, as if Curitiba was an independent Republic separate from the rest of the country.
Everything is happening amidst Dilma's Impeachment, which has been proposed early last year, and now has gained MASSIVE traction due to the whole rest of the scandal.
It's a massive shitstorm, and i've glanced over several details. The opposition is also implicated in SEVERAL scandals.

So, yes, Spheres of Power. I'm freelancing for the system, writing a book for the Enhancement sphere, big whoop.
I'm pissed off that, when initially designing the system, it was decided that half-assing an effect-based system was a good idea.
Case in point: Enhancement is mostly a mix of buffs and debuffs, with a few tricks to do with animating objects for some asinine reason. Conjuration is strictly summoning creatures. Death is "everything that would be in the Necromancy school", and Time is "it's here if it is vaguely related to time in some way."
So it has been a bitch to write new stuff for the Enhancement sphere that doesn't step on one of the fluffy-fluff schools. Can I make a new talent that gives an extra attack? No, Time has anything that could be construed as a Haste effect. I want to mess with debuffs? I have to check to make sure that I'm not stepping on Death's toes.

So, yes, Spheres of Power. I'm freelancing for the system, writing a book for the Enhancement sphere, big whoop.
I'm pissed off that, when initially designing the system, it was decided that half-assing an effect-based system was a good idea.
Case in point: Enhancement is mostly a mix of buffs and debuffs, with a few tricks to do with animating objects for some asinine reason. Conjuration is strictly summoning creatures. Death is "everything that would be in the Necromancy school", and Time is "it's here if it is vaguely related to time in some way."
So it has been a bitch to write new stuff for the Enhancement sphere that doesn't step on one of the fluffy-fluff schools. Can I make a new talent that gives an extra attack? No, Time has anything that could be construed as a Haste effect. I want to mess with debuffs? I have to check to make sure that I'm not stepping on Death's toes.

With Enhancement, you're pretty limited with what you can do to creatures. You can improve upon (or decrease) traits that they already have, but you can't bestow new traits because that's Alteration's thing. You can make a creature stronger or smarter, but can't give them claws or an illithid's mind blast.
Therefore, I'd focus on enhancing objects. You can't make a creature fly by giving it wings, but you could animate a table and stand on it. Make someone's cloak resist elemental damage. Animate someone's armor to hamper or control their movements. Heat or chill someone's weapon and force them to drop it or take damage.
Look at the Artificer's infusion list for inspiration.

I'm having pain on my hip socket, where the leg joins with the hip bone. It's hurting bad, every single time i train high kicks and/or side kicks. Fucking sucks, too, because i'm actually getting pretty good.Is the pain on the front, side, or back of your hip?
Front of the hip, and from what i could tell from anatomy books + google, it's something called femoroacetabular impingement. I'm going to the orthopedist tomorrow to confirm, but it's pretty bad.
It's in the front of the hip, more or less where the femur meets the hip socket, in the front, and whenever i rotate the femur inside the hip socket, it hurts. When i sit, depending on the position, it hurts, and also causes a pain in the gluteal region, similar to a cramp, as if some nerve was pinched or something.
Most notable is when i do a spinning heel kick or any other spinning kick, where i put some significant rotation in my hip socket...
But even just walking, it hurts. If i stay still, nothing hurts, and after a couple hours without exercise, normal activities don't make it hurt at all, but for several hours after training, it hurts pretty bad, and, since friday, even after rest, it still hurts pretty bad.

Got my mri results back. Multiple minor tears throughout labrum as well as a tear or partial tear in 3 or 4 tendons in my shoulder, one of which may require surgery (3 month recovery time plus rehab). Or they might inject steroids directly into the tear. Not happy with either option.

Is it just this particular game that you're having problems with? If it's any kind of streaming, it's probably related to your processor. Video encoding is a tough job, and running an emulator at the same time doesn't make it any easier.

Is this a laptop thing or something? Whenever I boot up my laptop, the display size is just wrong. It fluctuates between 125% (the default) and 150% looking right. It's regular, so if I restarted my laptop right now, it would go back to the 125% looking right. And this is for text size, window size, etc. Chrome....doesn't seem to respond to the size changes? I don't know....it's really weird, but this laptop and my last one on Win10 both have this problem.

They basically put you on Carbidopa-Levidopa. If symptoms go away, you have Parkinsons or something similar. If they dont, then they look for other causes (such as meds you're already taking).I hope that's a negative. That disease is awful. My PC needs to be formatted way more often than my laptop does, so i think it has something to do with the way you use the system. My Laptop is mostly for light web browsing, maybe watching some videos and work/study. Not a whole lot of installing/uninstalling stuff, downloading and deleting stuff, etc... Whereas my PC i use for gaming, i install and uninstall games frequently, there's a lot of downloading and deleting stuff, updates, several different kinds of programs, etc...

It's more than the Parkinson's. My feet are nearly numb from neuropathy. I have ulnar tunnel and neuropathy in both arms. My right rotator cuff is torn. The Parkinon's meds have made my anxiety worse, and I now have panic attacks when driving (bot that I didn't sometimes get them before). Plus the other meds screw with my concentration, and I drift off a lot.
It was time, I was just hoping for longer.

Just yesterday, I heard on the radio about this kid, barely 18. He's going to serve an 8-year conviction on attempted rape because he kissed a 15-year-old girl and her mother walked in on them. (Mind: statutory rape age in Brazil is 14.) The reason? "We have to show everyone that perpetuating rape culture is not okay." Yes, PC is going to rob a kid somewhere of eight fucking years of his youth. Probably screw him completely both on education and out of the workforce, too. And people are nodding sagely left and right like this is the goddamn right thing to do.

My father and his wife both work in the customer support call center of Wells Fargo. He was recently given a month off due to exhibiting symptoms of PTSD due to the unbridled hate people have spewed directly at him. He says the worst part is that he isn't allowed to hang up until they are absolutely done and say they are satisfied, or hang up on him. Some nut job who warns about the "Jesuit brotherhood"/mason/illuminati NWO who secretly runs the world grabbed one of his recent videos, and used supposed critique of it as a platform to rant about how media and Hollywood don't matter because they're controlled by the aforementioned NWO, and how he's stupid for talking about such 'worthless' media.
Seeing this as blatant abuse and not at all fair use, he DMCA'd the guy.
So the guy bitches up a storm, tweet-posting (and tagging my BF's username each time, for unknown reasons?) links to alternate postings on other video services, which also got DMCA letters.
Then the guy posts a 30 sec rant about it, which I've not seen yet, and keeps posting alternate hostings of the original video. New DMCA letters.
And I don't know what I can do about it, but he doesn't want me to get involved. He's getting anxious about all this, but I don't know how to help. :(

I've got a 6-year-old cat with kidney issues, possibly undergoing kidney failure. We took him in for a checkup last thursday, because he wasn't looking good, was due for one next month anyway. He has been on a medication for mild kidney issues, but they called friday morning saying his blood-tested levels were even worse than the last time. We upped the dosage of the medication, and they gave us a sterile water bottle to give him an IV of water to rehydrate him and hopefully help him clear the toxins over the weekend.
Yesterday he seemed to be doing better, getting him to eat was a little tough but he managed, whereas today he was eating a lot less, had a little this morning, but wouldn't eat anything this evening. Just gave him the IV, see how he does in an hour, then try him with food again. If he's in decline when we take him in tomorrow, I don't think I want to stretch it out. He's not grooming himself much if at all, which makes me really worried.
We lost the other cat (who was a year older than this one) earlier this year to the same issue. Not sure why, no apparent cause.

With a 100k/yr I'd think you're doing very well for your self in general too, maybe rent is super high but hell you can cook T-bone for every meal if you balanced your budget out right.
It's frustrating, huge pain in the ass, totally inconvenient, but also just a tiny bit helpful. When addiction spills over spouses like to take part of the blame and rush in to help, but this isn't her first offense and you having good reasons to keep you away. This will probably help in the long run since you'll see the long game instead of the emotion-blinded one. One thing I'd go for is seeing if your son can take a three day or something and come over to see you. He should personally understand the destruction an addiction can cause, but not how you get there, and now would be a good time for him to build some determination to ensure stability for his future family. It'd also help to make personal in-face contact so he sees things from another angle instead of "siding with her" and thinking you choose work over family. But don't sugar coat it, he can see through your BS, just be honest.
Anyway, your anger will eventually give way. If she gets sent to rehab you have about four months to save up and find something decent before everyone is ready to move back so you have plenty of time to works things out even if it seems like everything needs done now. So focus on your self, bargain out your bills but not her or her actions. And beat the depression that'll surface by what ever you do that makes you go. Like if you have to, take a 3 day and head back or something. Just don't spend all of your time hanging out by her bed side, go see how Grandpa is doing and spend some time with junior.

So I got a new phone the other day, because my old one was starting to crap out. It's an LG G6, and LG is currently running a promotion on it where they'll give you a Google Home for free. I went to their website, gave them the IMEI number and proof of purchase, and got an error saying "sorry, that device isn't part of the promotion." WTF, that was the tipping point that made me go with the G6 instead of waiting for the S8! Jerks.
Further, my new phone uses USB C. Technically better than microUSB, but it means I have to upgrade all my chargers and stuff. No big deal, I was going to have to do that eventually anyway. Turns out, USB C is actually kind of complicated, in that an improperly-made cable can fuck your shit up - some cables don't have the proper resistor, and will allow the phone to draw more current than it should and melt. Also, different phones have different charging technology that will allow them to charge faster - the big ones are USB PB and Quick Charge. My phone has Quick Charge. So in order to get the right cable, you have to do research on which ones 1) won't melt your phone and 2) support the technology your particular device uses.
I did that research, picked out a new wall charger, a new car charger, and 2 new charging cables and ordered them off Amazon. When they arrived today, I found out that they had sent me the wrong car charger. The one I ordered had a USB-C Quick Charge port, and a normal-charge USB-A port. The one they sent had a Quick Charge USB-A port, and a normal charge USB-C port.
TL;DR - tech upgrades are a pain.

Your league may have policies, such as mandatory reporting on actual crimes, that he could violate leading to him getting fired from his position but there is no legal repercussion for ignoring allegations. More than likely, as you have described, you've simply pissed off the wrong people. Things were brought up (probably multiple times) and you getting the boot was decided as the best course of action. A flimsy excuse, rather than telling you that you've been acting horrible, is probably his and the reporting party's diplomatic answer when asked for an actual reason.
But it appears you know what led the problem so you can probably fix it if you want to. Trying to double down and blame the opposing parties will just make things worse in the long run through.

The police station, the IML and the hospital are completely distant from each other, I was in the car, accompanied, but what about the woman who has no assistance as she does? She does not, she gives up. Because if I were alone, I swear I would have gone to the health clinic to say that I was drunk with an inner pad, I would not have the strength to go through this alone (and if it was not the internal pad, nor would I have gone, taking health risks); How many other women should not have suffered at the hands of this imbecile and those irresponsible security companies hiring anyone ?! And most importantly, I can not bear to imagine that another woman can go through what I have been through and remain silent, I am doing my part to avoid other pains and other sufferings.

8. no clue how old you or grandma are... as her situation deteriorates, she will be forced into a retirement home and there is very little to be done about that, based on what you have said. they will control her assets w. a 5? year back log. that is all basically water under the bridge despite having not happened yet.She's in her mid 70s. She doesn't have enough money available to make it another 5 or 10 years, so it is an elephant in the room pretty much all the time.

I do tai chi forms and stretches whenever I can, but between the anxiety and the nerve damage, I'm not exactly capable of much else. I walk with a cane most of the time, and can't lift my arms over my head unless they are directly in front of me.

Would've posted yesterday but my modem imploded like a dying star. Had to go in for 12 hour day anyway so wouldn't have had time.
Boss has called off two days due to personal issues, and has calmed down due to them thank god. Or at least till he gets back and sees what people have been doing.
Last night we get ambulance call cause kid has depression. I arrive, they then tell me he needs drug test, so I have to go back to shack to get paperwork. 2 cops blow past me. In the seconds I was gone he threatened suicide, and cops were notified because he can refuse an ambulance but not them. They take him for 24 hour suicide watch.
Guy calls and threatens hell on earth if we dont put him in touch with his coordinator, who then threatens us with hell on earth if we give out his number again like we're supposed to.
I go to do parking control and nearly get rammed three times by employees so now I am in no mood. I am literally considering walking over to the geese and saying "Lo, I have forsaken humanity, teach unto me your ways that I may seek revenge."

Before I can return to vehicle, I get call ambulance is on way. Girl is having panic attack, and is on floor hugging table leg not responding to anyone. So I have to do her first. New kid who took call doesn't know her location. "How are you directing the ambulance when they get here? Call them back." He calls and says is East Break room. "There are three break rooms, which one is East?" He doesn't know. Call them back. I'm driving I can't do that and dial phone at same time. Ambulance arrives and we take long, winding way through factory interrupting everyones work and freaking people the hell out when they could have just had them come through shipping. Which would have been closer and far less disruptive, and we wouldn't set off alarm opening an emergency exit. As of beginning of first shift alarm was still going, because no one, including us, has apparently ever been told how to shut the goddamn thing off.
I finish round and get told she's ready for pickup. I'm on my way back when phone rings. It's the lady from swing shift who isn't due in till the weekend. She yells at me for answering after 3 rings. "I'm in traffic, what the fuck do you want?" She gets pissed and goes on rant about how I'm like the 'goddamn welfare people' so i tell her to fuck off and hang up. Meanwhile the employee I picked up is staring at me like I'm a were-mongoose and have shifted without realizing it. I get back and ask the new kid why she called me on the security cell phone instead of shack. Turns out she did call shack, told him he was 'fucking useless' before calling me. Called him after I hung u and ranted at him again. Never did find out what the hell it was all about. I have now vowed to come in on days off to find the raccoon lair. Every weekend on her shift I intend to get them liquored up on mountain dew and peanut butter as long as they promise shenanigans.
