And today we walked a fired man who hid off break to smoke. Where did he hide to smoke you ask?
Why the toxic waste holding pen of course...
Omg bhu. Have a hug for just having to be around people like that.
Thanks, I need the hugs.
So now I have a conundrum. My workplace is contract security, and we just got the contract in April. But the client has kept a contract with the old company open just in case. Why does this worry me?
The site supervisor is firing people standing in teh way of him conducting a sexual relationship with a girl on 1st shift who is a little young for him. The other two employees on my shift (one of whom is shift supervisor) are angling to date a couple of "hotties" who are 18 years old. The coworkers are 32 and 35 respectively, both with children from former relationships. One has 5 kids by 4 different women. Neither understands how this is a conflict of interest or how closely the client actually watches us.
The job earns me enough money to get me kicked off medicaid tomorrow, but not enough to pay for my meds so I'll have to give some of them up. The top contestants are my asthma meds. I guard a factory that makes parts for Honda, so it reeks of burning plastics. Even once my insurance kicks in in August my meds will be at best 200 bucks a month.
However, a doctor I saw today is willing to sign a certificate of disability and get me into free housing, which if true would solve my immediate troubles. So the question before me is do I go for it, and go back off work for disability? Or do I continue at a job thats slowly killing me, and which I could lose at any second anyway?
There's also the ticking time bomb that is my recently diagnosed Parkinson's Disease...
