Thanks Nan!

I'm actually hoping to party up and explore the cave. But I'm pretty sure Teferi will die trying to climb out.

Edit: Nevermind
No idea who you were replying to or what you said. But if we're moving on I have a cool closing note.
The phase "Forgive me father, for I have sinned" says the same thing as "Liberate me Daddy, I've been naughty".

Also I think a certain someone might like to know about the Bow of Solars out of the A&E. It's a 100k bow but it does have a +5 Enhancement Bonus so really it's unique costs about 50k. Anyway, every arrow fired from it is a Slaying Arrow prompting a DC 20 Save or Die with each shot.

And who can forget the Manyfanged Dagger? Every attack with it deals quadruple damage and this effect costs roughly 30k.

I don't see how you could come up with that interpretation and think it's even close to correct.
And I'm not sure why you think Weapon Focus, a Feat that selects a single weapon type and applies it's benefit to all attack rolls of that weapon type, is a good comparison to hyperbole my statements out of context with a terrible example. I mean, how would you feel if I said your message claims holding four daggers lets you apply your Dexterity Modifier to attack rolls four times?

But I'm talking about no less than three rule entries that need to align in order to work. Relics which were written in singular form that says you need to tank a Slot to form a divine connection Relic and very clearly explains it's balance intent is per Slot. And how a Feat very clearly says it can be used in the place of one of those Slots for one of those Relics. And a third entry that contextually believes you're barely able to own one of them, let alone six at once, anyway and also very clearly requires that proper divine connection to even work in the first place.

And I get where you are coming from. You are trying to apply the Feat's benefit to each individual Relic because you think "a Relic of your Deity" means "all Relics of your Deity" and then trying to say a single nonstacking Feat can be counted multiple times. I simply disagree with that for what I feel is obvious reasons.

They're relics, not artifacts, after all.  And even enchanting 6 of them is pretty cheap (not counting the 36k base price for the arrows).
You have to expend a 4th level Spell Slot per Relic and the True Believe Feat allows you to use a Relic without expending a Spell Slot.
Wouldn't that be 36,036gp and (a Feat OR five 4th level Slots)?
No.

I also italicized the text for a reason.
Quote from: CD
This feat also allows you to use a relic (see relics, page 88) of the deity you worship.
Quote from: MIC
This feat also allows you to use a relic of the deity you worship without sacrificing a spell slot.
The MiC is quite clear the Feat only subs for a Spell Slot, singular term and not infinite access, which is an editorial rules update that provides extra clarification compared to before.

Or have multiples.  They're relics,
Exactly. You have to expend a 4th level Spell Slot per Relic and the True Believe Feat allows you to use a Relic without expending a Spell Slot. So you need a Feat, 36,036gp, and five 4th level Slots to pull that off.

That's quite a bit for +2 to attack & an average of +7 to damage.
And it doesn't even work with Hunter's Mercy or Energy Bows.

Pretty sure it's not Bane all the time unless you add Teleporting to it: It only returns once per round.

Oslecamo's Improved Monster Classes / Re: General Discussion and Sugestions
« on: December 23, 2018, 02:02:00 PM »
I feel like this is not how things are supposed to be. There's also something similar in the first Salient Abilities thing, and possibly in the other one.
I'm not sure about the deletion but Oslecamo pretty much nailed it on the head.

Everything is stored as bytes and has to be interpreted. Like for a Microsoft Windows example, Notepad defaults to ASCII character encoding instead of Unicode so when you try to save something in notepad using characters recognized as non-ASCII it tells you to pick a different encoding or replace the letters. SMF's web pages use UTF-8 for display, but the database it's self can use a different encoding set just as the user may submit a different encoding set too. Updates and changes to the interpreters can naturally mess with this, like maybe the host moving the site's data to a different server, or running certain forum maintenance commands, or w/e is the recent string of events.

Quote from: For Example
Mortals and other deities of lower rank can resist the auras effects with successful Will saves; the DC is 10 +1/2 HD +Charisma modifier. Deities are immune to the auras of deities of equal or lower Divine rank. Any being who makes a successful saving throw  against a deitys aura power becomes immune to that deitys aura power for one day.
Osl didn't use the U+0027 apostrophe. Due to localization he probably used a character that looks like it and gets converted into an error when everything is said and done.

Yep, pretty much the same deal with weapons.

They are only good if you use them on people those other people say are bad.

Off the top of my head, Metamagic Wandgrip says it works like the Metamagic Spell Trigger Feat.

And Eternal Wands are not Spell Trigger items, they are Command.

the anti-feminist, anti-gay version
Interesting and it's kudos to the film's design team for creating such a film full of stuff for people to pick at.

I don't know if he is really anti-feminist/gay through. He likes and steals a mask believed to be based around Mgbedike (time of the brave mask) from the Igbo people. They wore a mask to enforce order and express social values but it embodies a wilderness spirit that is aggressive, brash, powerful, and stubborn. It's people also have a well known story about the Igbo Landing where several captured slaves overthrew a slave ship and committed suicide at sea rather than becoming slaves. And I feel like it's a metaphor for part of his character's intended attributes. His social values are just kind of hard to pin down, clearly he is up for making racist remarks and comparisons that draw attention to various things. But to me it's a mask. Deep down he's just a kid who wants revenge and he doesn't want to let him self cry about his father. Like a reverse Batman.

Dark Moon Disciple is in the Web Enhancement for Champions of Valor.

It's known for it's Shadow Mastiff like ability.
Quote
Shadow Blend (Su): In any conditions other than full daylight, a 7th-level Dark Moon Disciple can disappear into the shadows, gaining total concealment. Artificial light does not negate this ability, though a daylight spell does.
This benefit replaces the wholeness of body class feature that the standard monk gains at 7th level.
Through publications like the Matrix Monk. And while I could never honestly claim I'm the only one that seen it, I am the one that pushed back on the Monk's usefulness by lining up ACFs after seeing someone do it with the Barbarian.

As in pick another Ranger, and get a ++ BM Pet via the sidekick.
Picking the 3rd level in a Class instead of a CR1 Creature that can only advance using Sidekick Classes really does sound exactly like something GitP's community would do.

8wGremlin made this list of cr 1s :
That's missing six CR1s, and several lower, out of Mordenkainen's (and probably every other rulebook) according to the already provided CR lists by the authors.

A good one seems to be the Stone Cursed on page 240. AC17 with 19hp, obtains Advantage on all AoOs and +1d10 dmg when it has an Advantage. Best part is Petrifying Claws which prompts a Save vs Restrained followed by Save vs (effectively) death.

Warrior is preferable to Fighter at any number of levels.
It's a lesser Champion that trades Fighting Styles and Action Surge, and other related features from the worst Fighter choice, for circumstantial save boost and Advantage with Initiative. Meh.

I like how the spellcaster gets full 9th level slots as a Warlock through. Thats a thing right?

At 20th, it's 1,125 damage on average!
o.O

It needs more metamagic.

If it makes you feel better people have come around and are widely referring to Killmonger as a hotep now.
Like the original meaning of the word or the pro-black anti-progressive usage?

And that's also kind of interesting. In the Museum scene the first mask pointed out is Bobo Ashanti and they believe black supremacy part of their religion and they consider them selves the true Israelites. He also scarred his body after killing an enemy similar to the Surma people. If I'm not mistaken, both groups do not allow female leadership.

I know that fear stacks but i always thought it must be from different sources so i can't demoralize by intimidation checks the same target or can i?
When you spam Imperious Command to Demoralize it applies a "higher" effect even if it didn't stack.

Now if you didn't have Swift Demoralize, Intimidate effect would just be Shaken off your effect and yes WotC has generally used same source = nonstacking even through it's a spell-based rule. This is why you stack it with something else like the Dreadful WrathPGtF and Frightful PresenceDraco and Mortifying AttackFR:CoR Feats, Grafts like Frightful CrestRotD, various Spells through Blade of Fear & PainLM/SpC probably deserves a mention, and Class Features that reduce Saves improving the effectiveness as well as the overall total debuff effect like a Paladin of Tyranny's Aura of DespairUA, a Bound Focalor's Aura of SadnessToM, or a Hexblade's Dark CompanionPHB. Through a lessen known bonus is the Thayan SlaverFR:UA which for a two level dip can deal 1 Wisdom Damage with each usage of Intimidate.
