oh, off the top of my head:

missing lots of anthro animals,
missing all the hengeyokai sub-races - they all have different stats,
missing muls (half dwarfs),
missing the inspired....
if one is including cohorts, lots missing there too.

consider adding a link to the LA+1 and LA+2 race list, to have the race resources organized: http://www.minmaxboards.com/index.php?topic=342.0

This thread is to allow non-Handbook Writers to give feedback on Master +0 LA Race List III.  (Formerly Master Player Race List Version 3.0.)

I have a couple of questions to kick this off:
  • Should the list include racial classes you don't have to take levels in?
  • Some racial classes don't explicitly state if you have to take levels in them.  Does this mean you don't?

Is it preferable to list races in the style “Hill Dwarf” or the style “Dwarf, Hill?”  I'm currently alphabetizing according to the latter.

Are the spoilers for subraces good or bad?  It makes scrolling easier, but it interferes with ctrl+f.

Looks like you've already added the racial classes, which is a good move I'd say.  As for those that don't explicitly talk about levels, it'd probably be easier to leave a note saying it's up to your DM whether they do or not.

Scrolling versus ctrl+f is a tough one.  I have a large screen so I don't have to scroll much, but others might have issues.  Ultimately though, it's a guide that really should be searchable without having to poke the spoiler buttons.  Many times people won't be sure if something is a subrace, so having it out will help.

Also, Kagonesti's favored class is ranger.

Some racial classes don't explicitly state if you have to take levels in them.  Does this mean you don't?
I believe the default assumption is that you have to take all the levels - the ones on the web have a specific exemption.

D'oh - at first glance, I thought this meant a list for races from the 3.0 ruleset, now I get it.

That keeps happening.  As much as I'd like to stick with tradition, I think it's time to change the name.  How about “Master +0 LA Race List III?”

the rules in question also include a general grandfather clause for any level-broken down race. if the race does not grant an HD at first level, or if there is an exception listed like the small anthropomorphic animals, it is likely covered.

Is this LA+0 or ECL+0? Anthromorphic baleen whale is LA+0, but ECL+3.

None of the small anthropomorphic animals gain weapon finesse. Reason: Only races with wf as abonus feat retain it as a bonus feat. SRD check yields 0.

I've looked into this and figured out a few things.
  • The errata for Monster Manual II gives weapon finesse as a bonus feat to 17 creatures that were previously listed as having weapon finesse as a normal feat.
  • The SRD does not reflect this change.
  • The Hypertext d20 SRD does reflect this change, as part of its Changes from the Official d20 SRD.

Now that I'm aware of the errata, I'll list it as a source on those creatures.

Changing the format to tables makes it much easier to look at.  Thank you!

Maat - Thanks for checking that, I always seem to lose my errata'd versions. Doh!
