Tenth takes a moment to concentrate, focusing his mental powers to make his position more difficult to discern from afar.  Satisfied that the halflings' long range weaponry is less of a threat, he soars through the night sky toward the nearest ballista outpost.

He reaches out with his mind to observe the activities of the outpost's occupants, knowing that flurried activity will reveal when the diversionary tactics of Tenth's allies are working sufficiently.  That will be the proper time to strike.

Three goblins quickly start striping while eyeing Slut with lusty eyes, while the chieftain rides his wolf mount around bashing random elements of his brethern with his spear haft, attempging to group them togheter. The goblin tribe ends up making somewhat of a formation, with Yurgret at his center and the remaining party members all around, while Tenth and . The naked trio starts flanking Slut, when she breaks running towards the gate, being instantly followed by the clearly horny goblins. The rest of the tribe and party follows them under the cover of night to the edge of the zone illuminated by the wall lanterns, and you can see  the sentries attention completely drawn towards the naked screaming halfling chased by equally naked goblins. The ones of you with better vision can actually spot the suprise stamped on the small guard's faces.

As the group advances on the compound, Tenth takes a moment to focus on the weak points of the Halfling anatomy.  The one positive aspect of taking that particular form is a better understanding of its limitations.

In the form of a tiny bat, Grimtooth flies over to the parapet on the left, and drops onto it. As he falls, he calls upon his dark magic to toughen his skin and protect him from the holy powers of any clerics and to make him stronger. Then he transforms back into his normal form, and draws his weapon.

Rao, in a sudden charge of inspiration, changes into his child form and burrows up towards freedom. He listens for the moment, unsure of exactly where he is or who is around. But a dirty and adorable young boy wrapped only in filthy clothes is much less of a worry for him than his true form.

Yurgret breaks into a sprint as he enters the edges of the light, truly terrifying for something as large and monstrous as he is, loosing a loud bellow as he slams his heavy arms into the gate, trying to smash through them.

'Zahkh suddenly doubles in size, following in the wake of the ogrespider.

((OOC: Rapidcast Enlarge Person as a swift action, then double move, unless Yurgret goes through the gate and there's a target to charge.))

Meveri takes the sound of the Ogre's pounding and the fiend's wailing to mean that the plan has begun. She rises up from the ground beneath the more southern front-tower, emerging from the top of the tower just off-center enough to reach one of the ballistae.

Soon after, she grabs onto the adjacent siege weapon and sinks through the ground with it. Just underneath the tower ceiling, she lets go of the weapon, allowing it to fall to the ground below. As it crashes, it doesn't make so much as a whisper.

Yurgret leads the charge, the wood gate instantly shattered into a rain of splinters from the heavy impact. The expression of suprise on the guards behind quickly turns to terror as they see the goblin horde aproaching behind the ogre-spider.

And in the midst of them charges Zahkh, crushing one of the suprised guards into pulp with his massive bec de corbin. The goblin chief and his wolf riders advance trough the midst of their tribe screaming, green bodies chaotically piling up as they all seek to reach the opened gate first. The goblins in the back that can't make way forward shoot their "new" crossbows at whatever halflings they can spot, some actually managing to hit trough amount of fire more than anything else. The mounted goblins end up geting ahead, slashing at the guards while their mounts seek to bring them down with their teeth, but they manage to hold the line.

We're the order's gate keepers! Not a step behind and push this scourge back!-yells one of them, unsheating his sword as the other nearby halflings form a defensiveline.

Then their drawn weapons start glowing red and as they slash at the goblins torrents of fire emerge from their blades, burning down both riders and mounts to a crisp, except for the chief that threw himself to the ground and took cover with impressive celerity. Even Zahkh and Yurgret get slightly singed by the flames, but they avoid including Slut in the burning area, which ends up saving some goblins behind him.

Quickly miss, get behind us! We'll hold them off!-asks one of the guards with urgent eyes.

On the northern tower, cries of alarm are raised as the guards there man up the ballistas and take aim, aparently unaware of Grimtooth. Or perhaps they simply know there's little they can do against him now that he's on their midst, out of the arc of their siege weapons, and shoot them at whatever targets they can aim now.

Look at that, this isn't just a goblin raid... Take down the unnaturals first! Before they get any closer!

Tenth ends up barely dodging two ballista bolts almost as big as his current form, that still painfully scrap bits of his skin. Zahkh is pierced twice by the two other siege weapons, while Yurgret's bloated hide absorbs a shot from the sourthern tower whitout any real damage caused to him while another flies wildly into the night.  However as a guard reaches to one of the remaining siege engines, it suddenly sinks inside the tower while the guards are covered by a thin layer of frost.

(click to show/hide)

The last ballista ends up impaling a random goblin while the few remaining wall guards pump bolts into the chaotic horde, which keeps pressing forward despite the charred remains of their bretherns.  Sounds and lights come from the houses behind the wall, with the distinct sound of hurried steps and clanging metal.

On the other side of the city, Rao can sense multiple carefully positioned small houses, and two massive buildings to the south and north. Not a single soul seems to be moving on the streets. He'll need to emerge to gather more details.

Rao pushed himself from the ground, his young form sullied from the dirt he rose from, and looks around thoughtfully. Without much else to do, and knowing the attack has started, he decided to start sowing chaos from behind the lines. The halflings would possibly see themselves as forced to split their forces; even if they didn't, he could ruin the city with impunity.

Nothing was necessarily important to be left but ash.

He moves swiftly to try and find a place of importance to burn first.

Grimtooth guts one of the halflings as he takes aim at Tenth, splattering blood over the ballista.

As Rao emerges, he sees one of the large buildings seems to be some kind of plain warehouse. The other is a white chapel with a large silvery disk on top and small windows of colored glass, from inside which comes a faint, inviting glow. The whole building breathes serenity and peace. Then a large section of it colapses and the surroundings catch fire as the dragon unleashes his pyroclastic breath. Screams are instantly heard from inside as the flames rise in the night.

At the sight of blood, the vampire's feral instincts kick in, and he lashes out with tooth and claw at the tiny halflings scampering around him, forgetting for the moment about the weapon that dangles about in one hand.

'Zahkh rapidcasts Great Thunderclap as a swift action.  If all the halflings are stunned, he'll move through & let the goblin hordes take 'em out; if any are not stunned, he'll charge+leap attack.

Yurgret moves through the ruined gate, and begins laying about at the remaining halflings with his meaty fists.
