:D

Littha, what's your take on this version of the Barbarian?  Ignoring the Animal Spirit and Bear Barbarian ACFs as they aren't relevant to your campaign world.

Also, what's your ruling on these four different homebrew postings (all by Krimm_Blackleaf on GITP) for warforged?

Edit: I just realized that Rageforged requires Chaotic Evil.  I'll come up with a backup character concept...

Seems fine.

:D

I'll post a charsheet soon.  Will you accept a magic-blooded strongheart talenta halfling?  My idea is to have a flying or aquatic dino via Wild Cohort.

Looks good

Just to double check, are you approving me playing a Chaotic Evil warforged barbarian?

As long as you don't go out of your way to throw the campaign off track it should be fine

 :love

I won't, I've got plans for dealing with that.  I'll need a shared backstory with another character, but that should be simple enough.

I'll be taking feats that have an affect when I use a rage/day.  I assume that using a rage/encounter (since that's what I'll have) will do the same thing?  Also, for simplicity's sake I'd like a ruling on whether or not I can enter a rage when I'm not in an encounter.

Quote
Surge of Vigor [Warforged]
You can channel your rage to heal yourself.
Requirements: Rageforged, Constitution 18, BAB +6
Benefit: You may expend a use of your rage ability to gain fast healing 1, or increase any fast healing you have by 1 for a number of rounds equal to your character level.

This feat is why.

Dragon based character, with Dragonheart Adept and Breath of Fire (replacing Desert Wind) for approval.

Hmm...can half-drow have dragonmarks (as they are elves)?

What level would I need to be to get a Glidewing with Wild Cohort?

The problem is that until then, a land-based animal companion is not going to be very useful in a ship-based game...

EDIT: You know what? Never mind.  If I was going to do a dino-rider I'd do a supermount build or something.  I'll go with a magic-blooded human, and maybe take a dragonmark for awesome.

:D  My character sheet will be done later tonight.  Gonna get the stats done and then worry about spells between now and the start of the game.  Here's hoping I manage to do better with the spells here than I did with my cleric when I played with my friends.

http://www.myth-weavers.com/sheetview.php?sheetid=436363 is what I have so far.

I'm happy to help with spell choice.  Just make sure, I mean REALLY make sure, that you take Kelpstrand as early as possible.

Drow don't manifest dragonmarks, not sure why but they definitely don't.

Saltray, too. It's like a lower damage version of Icelance, but one level lower and with a free Split Ray within 300 feet of shore. No +4 bonus on the ranged touch attack, though.

Players in order of request. As I said at the start I am only taking the first 6

Geniussavant  :D
Sirpercival  :D
Nanshork  :D
Solo
Sohala  :D
JackintheGreen  :D

Reserve:
Dipolartech
Shadowviper
Innabinder

If solo confirms he is joining us that will be the top 6, otherwise one of the reserves will make it into the game. I don't like screening players like this but I really don't think I am up to running an 8/9 player game.

I'll be taking feats that have an affect when I use a rage/day.  I assume that using a rage/encounter (since that's what I'll have) will do the same thing?  Also, for simplicity's sake I'd like a ruling on whether or not I can enter a rage when I'm not in an encounter.

Taking the feats is fine but no raging unless there is something to actually rage at. I am fine with you activating it if you want to kick down a door or something but no activating it and just chilling while you heal up.

From Dragonmarked, pg 47:

Quote
The dwarf, elf, gnome, and halfling subraces detailed in
the Monster Manual, as well as new subraces introduced in
Races of Stone and Races of Destiny, are all considered members
of the dragonmarked races. However, the bloodlines of the
dragonmarked houses only manifest in the most common
subraces. For example, only high elves who are members of
the House Thuranni or House Phiarlan bloodlines display
the Mark of Shadow, and only hill dwarves from House
Kundarak display the Mark of Warding. A member of a
variant subrace - any character whose type is humanoid and
whose subtype is human, dwarf, elf, gnome, or halfling—
does qualify for the Aberrant Dragonmark feat, however,
since aberrant dragonmarks occasionally manifest among
these subraces.

That's one of the main ones I thought of right from the start.  I'd be out of place if I DIDN'T take that in an seafaring campaign.

Gonna look up Saltray though.

Edit:  Looked it up, and I'm definitely going to use it.  Undertow might prove interesting as well depending on circumstances.

1st level.

littha, how would you rule that Fortuitous Strike interacts with Dragonmark Smite (Dmk 139)?

EDIT: Same with Silver Smite.

You can trigger Dragonmark Smite while using your Fortuitous Strike, it gets all of the bonus effects but only on one hit in a full attack even if you wanted to trigger it multiple times.

Silver smite, same thing. Works fine but only on one attack per round.

Do we need a face?  I need to decide on my invocation, and it'll either be a +6 do Diplomacy, Kno:Religion, and Sense Motive; or Bless Weapon & Magic Weapon for my bashiness.  Thoughts?

EDIT: Also, max or average or rolled starting gold?

EDIT2: Prelim charsheet
