Is there a way to do it without sneak attack?

Invisible Iceberg.
Slam them with 20d6 damage (no save no sr) and they are trapped and freezing without any freaking clue what hit them.

And all of the king's men are like wtf we're hit/buried too! And without 20 Str or more you can dig your self out.
So they all lived happier ever after thanks to oxygen deprived hallucinations before death.

It has an advantage of being uber stealthy (no one alive can report they seen you) and leaves a unique calling card.

Iceberg does offer SR.

Otherwise, it's an alternative ice assassin.

Maw of Chaos does just as much saveless damage as Iceberg, but also forces a save to resist being dazed, so that if the target should somehow have enough HP to survive 20d6 untyped damage, he'll likely be dazed and unable to act, and then have to suffer the damage again next round.

Replace their sleeping bag with a large bag of holding, then sneak in and finish covering them up. Now in an extra dimensional space they won't feel you carry them to Mount Doom and chuck them into a volcano until they're already in free fall over the lava and no amount of screaming will save them. No one will even find the body either.

 :plotting
Once they fall asleep take the top blanket off (if any) and hit them with PAO to turn them into a rock then hit them with Rock to Mud. Now pick the corners up of the sheet they are on and carefully stuff it and all the mud into a cooking pot. Replace the top blanket and add a small scrub to the container. Anyone peaking in over night will just think he has some amazing choices in decor.

Sneak in, then deliver a Feral Death Blow (Tiger Claw 9)?

(Greater) Invis & Silence on self, Silent Spelled (any spell you like that renders your target helpless), coup de grace.  At low levels, you'll probably have to allow a save (Sleep, Hold Person, etc), but still works.

Speaking of, don't forget you can execute any restrained target with a successful Profession Check, and a failure only turns it into a Coup De Grace, if you use a Great Sword/Axe.

SorO: Profession: Executioner?

What about just one-shotting/one-rounding foes with Hood-level damage?

Absurd levels of hide and a charger build.

Slight of Hand and a cocktail of poisons.  Side order of diseases, just in case.

Feed them a (PrC created) potion of any of the buffs that end with user death.  Fail to mention the side effect.  Lie to FDA later.

Sleep spell + Scythe.

Trick them into trying to roll Pun Pun.  Rocks fall.

Grapple + surprise + extra attacks = pinned.

Tell the guy with sneak attack your target stole his sweet roll.

Wait.  He'll die eventually.  Everyone does.

Dark Template, cha boosts, and a stunning weapon. Tag on that feat for not being detected by things without sight and saw the head off whatever you stun.
