Skull-masked ghosty people didn't bother Pha much. Her universe was one of wonder and multi-faced strangeness.
Anything that began with conversation over jumping-at-your-face was a promising meeting. Especially with a barred door at her back.
"Hi! Sorry we kept you waiting! We did get punished plenty for it indeed. We're getting ready for another try at it and see if we can save the world before lunch-time tomorrow! (technically)"

She hoped to win a new friend over with her great sense of repartee and her heroic spirit.
"We still got a spot or two in our group of heroic enterprises if you've grown bored of these halls. I know we're in dire need of a floating woman with attitude!"
Her ice crystal telepathically chimed in with ideas of its own; Tell her there's free drinks! It was important.
"...there's free drinks and probably time-travel involved! Maybe even a spaceship ride soon. You wouldn't want to miss out!"
She could have said that saving the world was its own reward, but that wasn't going to fool anybody.
Even the legendary hero got to break a few thousand pots for giggles.

Gompa actually considered for the first time that saving the world was more important than shiftily stealing the power of a sage for himself.  His Kong interposes between him and the skull things.

Free drinks? What kind of drinks? This place isn't so bad, but Fadore doesn't allow any booze at all around here. At least not after the Hero's Shade got wasted and demolished half the place. Good times... I suppose we could bank in some of the vacation time we've been piling up. You don't happen to have any proper drink with you right now by chance do you?

Gompa, Pha and her familiar all feel like this ghost girl is completely trustworthy and will support you true and through. No way she may ditch you midway, let alone turn on the party when big trouble arises.

"Well then whats your name, how long have you been in this room, anything interesting about it we heard about treasure, do you know how to get the bars up, I'm guessing its a puzzle?  My name is Gompa, the fairy is Pha, Jeremy is the kid, Squeaks is somewhere(gompa normally can't roll well enough to motion), thats kong he's a cool guy doesn't talk much.  We're trying to stop the moon from crashing into the island, because that is about to happen."

"None right now though we're going to celebrate BIG after saving the world. Probably in for a feast after we save this region. It is the custom with high heroics."

"Oh, don't worry about that. I can just return to the fairy fountain and open it up for us again. Then we can go for another try against the Hero's Shade."
She was all hyped up now. That was going to be great!

Name's Foebe. I think. Been so long since somebody used it. My little one here is Caveirasombra.
Can't really say how long I've been here. When you can't get hungry and everything around you remains pretty much the same and are living underground makes it easy to lose track of time. Last event I rememember from the outside world was when Vermelho won the pokemon world tournament, not sure you even know what that is about. Maybe I should've listened to mom and stayed in that world instead of going through that portal...

Oh, the bars, right!

Foebe exits the room through the wall, the door bars rise, then she comes back through the wall.

"None right now though we're going to celebrate BIG after saving the world. Probably in for a feast after we save this region. It is the custom with high heroics."

Man, sounds like I've been here pretty long then, because back when I was still alive heroes often got shoved to some other place after saving the day more often than not. So they gulped down everything they could during their adventures. And the previous adventurer wannabes I met told me stories about how every hero nowadays is expected to be a master chef, cooking and brewing everything they find in the wild. So just saying, how can you call yourself modern heroes if you can't even provide some nice refreshments?

Cooking heroes was a new one. Perhaps a trend those adventurers tried to start
"We'll collect the ingredients for some on the way though since we've got a timer for the end of the world we'll hold that for when our time restraints aren't so demanding. I'll chill them just below freezing point."

That portal-thing was interesting, though. It could be another option in case the world was to be destroyed.
"Now, let's see if we can find that artifact-thing that's supposed to help with the hero's shade. Maybe in the next room."

The next room is filled with trees bearing colourful berries and the ground is covered with soft grass and a bright emerald light emanates from above. There's a gold plated chest at the middle.

Pha instantly spotted the berries. "Hey! Drink ingredients!"
She could probably frost 'hem up a bit to make some kind of flavored ice thing.

The chest was noticed a moment later.

"Has to be arteefact yes?! Yes!"

Squeaks excitedly bounds across the room towards the chest, itching to open it.

Jeremy looks around the room.  After that big spider thing he doesn't like this place anymore.

Jeremy and Pha's amulet can hear something big floating above.

Nobody notices the shadow under Squeaks growing larger and larger...

Before the party can react, the Wallmaster starts to carry the deku up towards the light, although it doesn't appear to be trying to hurt the deku, just holding it firmly.

PANIIIIIC!!!

Squiggling and squirming, Squeaks was quickly heading towards a panic attack as it writhed about erratically in the kidnapper's grasp.

Squeaks fails to break free.
