Blargh. Alright, I've been waiting in case anyone wanted to weigh in a little more, but it looks like Amechra's schedule is filling up again. I'll give this one a proper kick in the pants then.

I'll try to post tonight.

Sorry, I'm in th middle of the hiring process for 2/3 jobs right now, so...

It just so happens that I started a night job.

So... yeah.

Yay!

Unfortunately Pip hasn't been on in over a month so we'll see just how far the game continues to stumble along. :(

I hope the fact that I performed my necromantic duties will pump life into the place.

Well, in theory we'll have two new arrivals soon. Even if they've decided not to join after all, we'll still have you, Amechra, phaedrus, and sirpercival.

Hey Boz, I think either Ariston needs to change or I need to replace him. His version of Ritualist doesn't work too well as-is (which is why Garryl, FitS, and I are reworking the system).

Thoughts?

Retconning Ariston to use the new version of Ritualist is perfectly fine by me. If you want to have a more dramatic switch in abilities, I'm sure we can figure a way to work that in (via the stone, perhaps), or we can replace Ariston with someone entirely new. Just pick whatever sounds best to you.

You've actually got an excuse here. Carabas is another drow who's been hanging around the camp, but up until now only Sarai had met him.

I don't have to replace myself, but I did bring this up before.  I can keep playing my guy if you'd prefer.

The rework isn't finished enough to use, sadly... so I think I'm going to $6M-man him. Would Sandman be okay?

I could also be super quick, however there's nothing wrong with my character.  I'm just kind of blah about him.

As long as the ability changes aren't too drastic (or slow), you two are the only ones who've touched the stone thus far, so that can account for your new skillsets via plot reasons. Speed, meanwhile...I figure there'll be a bit of time while some things are sorted out in-game, plus there are two new characters (potentially) to introduce. So, as long as you don't take too long and/or undergo violent transformations, by the time character capabilities become a major issue again all the changes should be made.

My only major concern would come if the party changed so much it no longer had a coherent reason for working together, but that's not so much of an issue at the moment unless every single person redoes their characters.
