On the topic of moving old handbooks, are the tags here identical to those of BG? I remember there were some differences between BG and WotC, which made transporting threads from one place to another a bit more complicated.
WotC's Size tag doesn't work here. Also WotC's quote wipes line breaks >.>

The ones I portered over from BG worked fine though. :)
That's good news. Changing tags would've been a major pain.

Is there a reason I can not post in the "Errata Complaints" over at "Unofficial Errata"? I felt the need to nitpick the ToB and mention that Divine Surge is not mentioned on page 48, but on page 49.
I'm what's staring back from the abyss.
How come you guys never wave?

Please send me a PM if you give me kudos. I'm interested in what I'm doing right.

Reminder in case it was missed. I still can't reply in the Rated M (only make new threads).

I have far fewer than 100 posts, and I can see and (apparently) post threads in the BLYHT forum.

It looks like handbook writers can see it, regardless of post count.

*smacks head*

I bet it's the same with with Rated M. My Handbook Writer access is allowing me to see & post new topics, but the permission to reply is defaulting to a minimum post count. Like Bhu is the only person to really reply over there and she has over 400 posts.

Guess I need to break that 100 barrier soon.

Edit - Reply access to Rated M appears once you have 50 posts.

Right now, if I'm reading correctly, it's set so that:
No one can start a topic in Handbooks or Unofficial Errata Project without being a Handbook Writer. Likewise, only Handbook Writers can reply to topics in these boards.
Handbook Editors have the above powers and can also edit any post in both boards.
Rated M for Mature lets you reply to your own topics but no one else's until you have 50 posts.

Would it be possible to add non-binary/non-cis gender expressions to the "gender" section of the forum profile? I know choosing a gender isn't required (which is a really good idea, since doing so can be simply annoying), but some people may want to be able to identify themselves and not be forced to give a binary gender, or indicate they aren't cis. It may seem like not a big deal, but it can really indicate that a forum/website/etc is open and supportive of those who aren't cis, even if they don't actually come out.

Could require a plethora of new options though, depending on what school of thought you subscribe to. Simply changing 'gender' to 'sex' would make it more biologically appropriate and it would avoid the unnecessary complications of the former term.

Totally unrelated to the post above: What is the character limit for PMs? I am in the process of moving some of my stuff over and knowing this is rather pertinent.

Can we add some functionality to the diceroller?  For example, being able to select "best X of Y"?
I don't think so. The diceroller is an addon provided by the host, so it would have to be edited separately by someone with the know-how and permission to do it. Prime might or might not be able to; I'll ask him.

Yeah, would be wonderful to have a roller similar in functionality to Mythweavers.   As it is a fear many games will just default back to Invisible Castle and others.

In case it gets overlooked since it's in the PbP forum, Sohala needs help with the following:

So...I seem to be barred from posting anywhere but in the gerenal PbP and and my game threads. Normally I would post such an issue in the proper place, but I seem unable to. My links up at the top are only "Home, Help, Moderate, Logout". I am also unable to view profiles or send messages.
The DM giveth and the rogue taketh away.
I have a 5 in Charisma and Diplomacy is a cross-class skill.  Hopefully I don't piss off too many people.

Believe it is because he didn't post in the "I agree" thread.

Wanted to thank you bringing that over here. :)

The edit feature for locked topics over on BG is missing.
If you start a thread with what threads to unlock, someone may be able to get to that.
Done.

Can we enable the viewing of messages in our outbox over on BG?

I'm just curious, is there any way to see what post I got kudos from?

I also wouldn't mind knowing what I did that people enjoyed, so that I might attempt to do it again.
