Greetings, all!

I wasn't sure if this were a simple question.  Constructs like Golems and Psicrystals, but not Warforged, are immune to "necromancy effects."  Cure light wounds and its derivatives target "creature touched" and make no mention of how it affects Constructs since such spells are Conjurations, not Necromancies.  Psionic repair damage and other repair spells explicitly affect only Constructs.

Therefore, what is your verdict and why?

Thankee!

Oooh look Endarire is back.

It is a simple question, and no they are not. Constructs are not alive (see the type or nonabilities:constitution) and the Cure Spells are positive energy based (see said spells) which only heals living creatures (see phb/dmg, planar supplements, campaign books, etc). Hence why Warforged's Living Construct Subtype says "As living constructs, warforged can be affected by spells that target living creatures as well as by those that target constructs. Damage dealt to a warforged can be healed by a cure light wounds spell or a repair light damage spell, for example, and a warforged is vulnerable to disable construct and harm.:eh

Cure Light Wounds targets a creature touched and Constructs are creatures. Therefore, you can cast a Cure Light Wounds spell on one. They are not living creatures, so they are not healed by the spell, nor are they undead, so they won't take damage. They (generally) don't have any other abilities that specifically interact with positive or negative energy or with Cure spells.

The Cure Light Wounds spell won't have any effect in and of itself on a Construct, although you might be able to add one with metamagic or other abilities that add rider effects to a spell.

Thankee for the welcoming back, SorO!

After posting this, I realized that Constructs aren't alive meaning they couldn't be healed, but Garryl clarified this to say they could still be targeted but ineffectively.

Also CLW does allow spell resistance, so it automatically fails on any creature with the Magic Immunity trait, like most golems.
