Nordar, who had been too paranoid to actually sleep around strangers, had been warily eyeing the crazy chest that eats treasure all night. When it starts moving, he jumps up as if he were about to attack it, then the words of the catgirl finally register in his sleep-deprived brain. "Troglodytes? Ah, stinky buggers! Better use mah bow, and stay out of range of the stench."

He readies his bow and moves away from whatever direction the scout seems to think they're coming from, trying to duck behind anything nearby that could provide enough cover to hide behind.

He'll be wearing his studded leather armor, not the platemail. I decided to change my plans.
