I'll close the gap, positioning myself in front of him.

As he sees you advance he quickly steps back and spins into a swinging attack, putting all of his weight behind his attack.

his glaive crackles with energy as it collides with your power sword, the air around you fills with static as you push his glaive away from your ribs.

You hear a sickening belch from behind the mask of the guard as he steps away from you black ichor drips from from the mask. The guard stands still for a moment before faltering and crashing to his knees. He remains kneeling, his face plate looking to the ceiling.

I'll kick him backwards (assuming he's dead) and begin walking to where the Twisted Flesh is kept, minding any noises from the Tzeench beast (trying to avoid walking into that nasty thing).

You stride past the now headless body of the guard, his blood a dark red hue. After several minutes of walking you come upon a a warped metal door sheared off it's hinges, the lights in the room have been extinguished. The only source of light is the multihued containers of the warped flesh several yards into the room.

Making sure my night vision implants are working, I'll take a look around the room before I head towards the delightful flesh.

As you look around the room you see a blood red handprint on one of the consoles it is smeared to the left as if someone fell holding them selves up. No one else is in sight.

Hm, I'll walk up and take a look at the console to see if there is anything of interest. Since I can actually use a computer, I want to take a look and see if there is any machine-spirit automated defenses.

(if the console is broken or cant be used ignore this and assume I walk up to grab the flesh after checking for traps)

As the fields containing the flesh drop, you turn around to see a bolter barrel less than 6 inches from your face. Gripping it is a hulking member of the the Word Bearers, his left hand holding a large wound in his neck. You notice the symbol on his shoulder marking him as a member of the Prophets of the Blighted Path. He speaks

"Get me transport. I would see myself of this rock. Alert the other guards and I will kill them along with you."

I'll smile in the face of the barrel,

"Ah, always good to have some company... And well, I can get you off this rock, but that'll require me being alive.. So you might want to save your bolter rounds for the rest of the guards."

I"ll turn away and head towards the twisted flesh with the intent to grab some (unless he bolters me in the ass).

"Prophets of the Blighted Path? What business do you have here?"

He stares at you for a second before replying

"Dark Apostle Naberus sent us seeking some important visitors here. If you are not a guard why do you wear that? and why would you be here?"

(Trying to RP the chummy disadvantage a bit lol)

Confused for a moment, I'll take a look at the arm and leg plates. "Oh.. Oh my, right. I found my limbs were a little more exposed then I'd like, so I took the liberty of 'borrowing' some armor from the guards here. I'm here to gather some Twisted Flesh from this foolish Oracle. Who is this Naberus?"

"Also,do you know what all the commotion out there is about? I heard some daemonic screams... Were you responsible?"

"Dark Oracle Naberus leads us. He awaits someone to lead a Black Crusade Against the Corpse Emperor. The Oracle invited some visitors that we suspected might rise to such prestige but he attempted to kill them to avoid his own death. He was slain by them and my brethren but I fell to an onslaught of guards while they escaped."

He remove his hand from his neck where the wound has closed over.

"Ah, well, shame they left this place in such disarray. Once we get out of here I can treat that wound, I have some apothecary training. If we get out of tis, perhaps you can send Naberus my regards."

(Can you tell me his HP on a diagnosis check?)

[He is sitting at about 5 or so HP, he very badly hurt]

He lowers his bolter a bit, "I would be grateful. How did you get past the guards though? You came from the main library meaning you must have been allowed inside or are more stealthy than you seem."
