Put them in a section below your character sheet in the character thread (in the same post if possible) followed by a dice roll (to stop people changing their prepared spells without me knowing).

Hang on a sec...  Wouldn't going that route would mean the post would definitely get edited because I won't always have the same spells prepared on different days?

Unless of course adding a dice roll via an edit is possible... I'll test it on this post.

Edit: Adding dice roll below.

And now changing the above roll.  First roll was 1d6 to get 2, this next one is 1d8 to get whatever.

Got 8 on the d8 dice roll.

And editing post again.  And editing out the dice roll entirely.

Well, I've shown it's fairly trivial to edit out or change certain dice rolls.  Obviously the more dice rolled the less likely it is to inconspicuously change things, so perhaps a standard 3d6 roll or something?

You can remove and change the rolls easily enough it was just an idea. I can always just check the last edit time.

What I might do is specifically post which spells he's prepared each morning as the story goes along, then link back to the list when I use a spell.  I won't edit that post to make sure I stick to my word about it.  Will that work?

Glad I can play a caster from level 1 though, to get used to all the spells better than when I jumped right in to playing a cleric at level 8.

To that end, I've intended Zane to have Winged Watcher (CSc 106) prepared for the day since it's fairly useful in a city, and I'm wondering whether he can get into a spot to cast it and have time to fly over to the ship and land.

Pointing back to that.  It's a swift spell that allows Zane to turn into an owl or raven for a round, which at 40 foot flying means 80 feet.  Just making sure whether it'll be usable.

I am certainly still here, I just don't move the scene along unless a player does something to trigger it

It would seem getting some boats to get on the ship is going to be so interesting we might not get to it because we don't have the money.  Seriously though, 50g for a single rowboat?  5-10g would have been my first thought.

I thought Solo might chime in, but he hasn't...

Oh dear...a moral dilemma. Anyone firmly against it?

Not firmly.  Zane is pondering it and going "We should probably cover our asses" but recognizes that they do have to take a risk given their circumstances.

None of our characters are lawful, so this might actually be doable.

Pretty sure if Castor tells him to get in the boat so he can kill something, he might just ask which boat, if he cares
