Hello.....
I'm Solauren.
I'm a long-time RPGer, mostly D&D and it's varities.
I started gaming when I was 12, in 1988. I've played oD&D, AD&D, AD&D2E, D&D 3E, 3.5, a few varities of the d20 system (Everquest D20 comes to mind), and now play Pathfinder with D&D back system support :)
I'm also the guy that put the only mirror of the old Wizards of the Coast Boards I'm aware "Secrets of the Archmages" at http://secretsofthearchmages.net/
(The goal of the website is to get all those threads sorted not by topic, but by content type)
I'm educated as a programmer. I actually wrote the program that downloaded the above mentioned board.

Yup.
And, unfortunately, I'm taking the website offline. Not doing what it was supposed to do.
I'm not deleting anything from my drive, however, so if people email me about stuff, I'll still check for it and send it as applicable.
If anyone else wants a copy of the entire website, let me know.

:-\ ... well you gotta do what you gotta do.
I've appreciated your effort and having it around.
There's so much classic stuff that's been otherwise grenaded.
Here's some more links for you, and it isn't lightweight stuff.
The signal to noise ratio is very high.
Considerable overlap among the 4 sites, via various breakdowns.

... not all of it is d&d specific, but the general quality is as high as it gets.
