New Exotic Weapons

Bagnakh: The Bagnakh is an exotic one-handed weapon. Baghnakh are used as a pair to enhance a person's unarmed attacks. When used by a monk, they may choose to use the Baghnakh's damage or their unarmed strike damage (whichever is higher). Baghnakhs may not be used to deal nonlethal damage, but are otherwise treated exactly the same as a monk's unarmed attacks when used in this manner. Baghnakh count as light weapons for the purposes of fighting with two weapons, as long as both weapons are Baghnakh.

Bullroarer: This odd item is both a one-handed weapon and a musical instrument. While wielding it, a bard can activate any of his Bardic Music abilities as a part of a move action during any round in which he attacks. The Bull Roarer also gives its wielder 10 foot reach but still can be used to attack adjacent opponents. Due to its flexible nature, it can be used to trip. If you are tripped during your own trip attempt, you can drop the weapon to avoid being tripped.

Draconic Treatise

Price: 15,000 gp
Body Slot: None (held)
Weight: 5 lbs.
Caster Level: 10
Aura: Moderate conjuration.
Activation: Full-round action.

A Draconic Treatise allows you to express an alternate Ideal so that you can exchange one philosophy for another without having to meditate.  Draconic Treatises are always found blank.

Lore: Draconic Treatises were first written by the great Dragonmage Kindarel, a True Devotee who followed the teachings of a Flame of the Forge Concordant Dragon.  Kindarel designed them as a means of giving his disciples more versatility on short notice.  (Knowledge [history] DC 35)

Description: A Draconic Treatise is a slim leatherbound volume with arcane symbols and draconic imagery worked into the cover.  When a Treatise holds an Ideal, the images twist and curl.  Whenever you exchange an expressed Ideal for the one in the Treatise, the book glows a deep blue and purple.

Prerequisite: You must have the ability to express a Draconic Ideal to use this magic item.

Activation: As a full-round action, you can call forth an Ideal you have previously expressed into the box, aligning your philosophies appropriately. To express an Ideal into the book, meditate as if you were expressing it yourself.  You can express an Ideal into a Draconic Treatise once per day, and you can exchange an Ideal with it once per day.  The book does not occupy an item slot, but you must hold it in one hand to activate it.

Effect: Upon activating the Treatise, you immediately express the Ideal inside it. If doing so would cause the number of Ideals you are expressing to exceed your normal limit, you cease to express an Ideal of your choice, releasing it to make room for the one from the Treatise. The released Ideal does not automatically enter the Treatise.  You can only call an Ideal from the Treatise if you expressed the Ideal yourself. If you have not expressed an Ideal into the Treatise when you activate this item, you gain no benefit and instead are stunned for 1d4 rounds. Once the exchange is complete, you lose all the abilities granted by the released Ideal (if any) and gain those granted by the new Ideal. You continue to express the Ideal from the Treatise based on the time you expressed it into the Treatise. An Ideal can only be expressed into a Treatise for a maximum of 24 hours, after which time it is automatically released.

prerequisites: Craft Wondrous Item, magic of the dragonheart.
cost to create: 7,500 gp, 600 XP, 8 days.
