You have no further incident on the way.  What are you grabbing?

What is there?
  • Are there any chemicals or other items of interest for a lab?
  • Any other books of interest?
  • Mundane commodities?
  • Is this the house that had cattle, or was that another place?
  • Anything else of interest?

She has Theology/Philosophy, if that matters, but it doesn't sound applicable to me.

you're guessing it's a sacrificial dagger.  There are stains on it, it's rusted to hell and back, and yet it seems to cut like it's made yesterday

Elizabeth keeps the dagger and looks for any useful books, chemicals, or food staples. She'll look for any books on the occult which might help with the dagger.

There's still plenty of rare and occult books you weren''t able to nab last time (plus dangerous lab stuff).  There is still food preserved in a root cellar.

I want to grab what we can. I want books on as wide a range of topics as possible.

What is the nature of the lab stuff? Elizabeth has a lab back home. Is there any equipment that would be useful to her, or any chemicals that would be useful or rare?

Food will probably be the lowest priority, grabbing things we're running low on, first.

Elizabeth herself only has a Str of 8, so whatever she can fit in her pack. I'm not sure how many guys there are.

If it's still snow, we should be able to rig up a bit of a sled we can pull behind us for some stuff.

You would need a sled or coach for all the books and lab stuff.  Sled might be risky for some of the chemicals.

Dangerous chemicals can be left behind, unless Elizabeth sees an urgent need for anything. This trip is more about taking advantage of underutilized resources and gaining intelligence than anything else.

Knowledge/Craft checks to see if there's anything relevant to the city's current situation in the lab, here:

Knowledge (Physical Sciences) = 1d20+10:
Rolled 1d20+10 : 4 + 10, total 14

Craft (Chemical) = 1d20+10:
Rolled 1d20+10 : 3 + 10, total 13

She'll keep the chemicals, and prioritize on books that seem most useful.

She'll want information on alien creatures and stuff for summoning and/or opening and closing portals.

There's some stuff purporting to do that, but you'll have no idea if it's real till you take a good read.

At this point, she'll have to do the best she can. She'd like to take the most back possible to make this trip worth while.
