Wow really? Vampires don't have DR? Dam -_-'

Those damage numbers were not quite what I was expecting either  :lol
As with all things, Vamps pay for their powers in Blood Money.

So Decus at least saw one enemy before the surprise round and was ready to move out of the way when it charged. Since they all moved simultaneously, would Decus flying into the air above the party have changed the target for the birds?

Yes, in which case Decus takes the damage meant for Carmellian.

2nd level battleship seems to be the only choice, given the Eberron one is a fixed cost out of 10th level WBL.

Mostly a shame because controlling that one is a case of profession,  Charisma, and charm/dominate monster. A skillset I completely picked up by chance. :lmao

Technically mechanical battleships also need a crew so you can still have your team of charmed/dominated people moving it around. :p

It was because the Eberron airship requires you to either win a charisma-off with an elemental to force it to budge... or just mentally subjugate it. That's another option. And the profession roll for complex maneuvers gets Charisma added to the base roll. All oddly synergistic, just too expensive. xD

Updated the most recent IC post to reflect Decus cowardly bravely tanking for Carmille. Also Decus won initiative so the party can all act now.

Didn't even have to Nerveskitter!

Does Mysterious Ring count as doing physical damage as I'm physically throwing it?  :p

Awwww, shame my feet got no improved critical.  :P

EDIT: Also, if it matters at the moment (not sure if it does... never had a character with Energy Drain before) the DC to remove those levels is 23.

I wish you'd be a bit more clear about how you're attacking, I'm wondering where the energy drain is coming into it. xD

Too lazy to reroll everything, but I realised that the bonus Pure Metal damage scales. I'll take that into account in future rolls. Also, does that get affected by crits? I assume not.

Yes.

I would've used Dark Healing too, because the way it's written now suggests you get FH equal to your HD for 1 blood charge

You misread it then since it specifically does say it's 1 blood charge for just Fast Healing 1, but I admit the next wording could be a bit clearer and could lead to another reading if one completely ignores the previous bit so clarified it.

No, clarified that too.

Yeah, assumed that was the intent, but you know what they say about assumptions.

I think we can infer "right beside two of the PCs and all of us were walking together".

Also one is flying.

About what are the creatures positions?

A couple Bloody Bulls roughly whitin 30 feet and the two Carmine Eagles roughly 70 feet up above you.

Which reminds me:

Kuroimaken:
The Bloody Bulls are colossal sized meaning they have melee reach 30 feet and that's how far away they attacked from. Does Hector has any kind of reach to hit back? If not he'll need to close in and provoke Aoo (unless you have some ability to deny that), and can't full attack unless he  has pounce or similar.

Shouldn't that be 20' reach? I'm assuming bulls are long, not tall.

A fair assumption, but after all the customization the Bloody Bulls count as tall creatures.

Was wondering direction as well, but yea the fact they are near people is enough info. I was deciding how precise I had to be. Also, yea you said they where big, but I didn't get the feeling they where TALL COLOSSAL. Though yea, I thought they were bipedal.

Yeah, that's the kind of important info that I needed BEFORE I posted my actions... I may have to redo them.
