Magana had difficulty as the hand held a firm grip over her face, its tail tightening around her throat.  There was something wiggling from within this thing's palm, something that filled Magana with dread if she wasn't about to escape soon.  And Axejack was having trouble hitting his target after losing a lot of blood.  His mind must be fading away.  The doctor is to the rescue, keep at it brave dwarf!  And, at long last some other good news for the psionic man of medicine: at long last he had established connection with the dark mind of the hand creature.  He was in!

It was things like this which was why the rat king had wisely decided to keep the hell out of melee.  He would have been dead 5 times over.  Still, the least he could do was to help his current battle allies.  The dwarf was no use to him if he died now, and so he muttered something impossible, weaving reality to knit Axejack's natural healing into overdrive.  "Live, Dweomermer, Ysno-hbijn-ujsi...si....wp!?!  Crap!"  Pronouncing the dwarf's true nickname was more difficult than expected, and he botched.  Instead of delicious healing flowing through his form, he benefits only from fast healing 1... for 1 round.  Worthless!

The hand grappling Magana goes for the pin, but rather than forth her down it's trying to force something through her mouth.  Horrifying!  But not as horrifying as what is happening with Axejack.  The brave dwarf is simply no match for the merciless beating that the scissorman was bringing upon him.  It looks like he may have finally given under the onslaught.  The rats above have changed tactics (or run out of ammo) because now they are throwing whatever they can find at the scissorman and aiming for the eyes.  It doesn't work.

Try and stabilize Axejack!  DC 14 Constitution check to stabilize.

Squiggles can jump in any time, otherwise... back to Magana!

Modified Dirty Trick attempt with Fort save.  Attempted blinding by throwing stuff at his eyes.  DC is... pretty low.  He might always roll bad.

Cheeky bastard was smiling at him.  Grinning like a madman.  Looked more like a mad bloodthirsty predator than a man from this angle.  A bit too much to be honest.  Lionel figured the punk was trying to rattle him, reverse this interration.  That meant this one was smart, but Lionel was too, he wasn't about to be outdone.

"Heh."  He offered a cold grin in return.  "Grinning in the face of danger, raw living meat... you're a real sick one, but the act doesn't work.  I've seen people worse than you, the only kind of monster you are in the human kind."

He leaned back and slid the stool he was sitting in to the side carelessly.  "Come on, he's not talking.  Let him stew a bit, we've evidence to collect.  I'm sure we'll have enough to bag his ass.  Don't let him out of your sight."  He slapped the nearest guard (or PC) on the back and will follow them.  Quietly to Elizabeth as they leave, he mutters "You don't actually believe the hocus pocus, do ya?  I know you like your tricks, but those are just parlour stuff."  Barnes always was the superstitious type.  Just like John was.  Rambling on about spells and magic and other nonsense.  He may not be a skeptic in the supernatural, but 'giant monster' was not his first go to explination for this.  He'd get to the bottom of it, he was sure of that.

He'll leave with the others.  The others must be rattled, bcause somehow he's the one who finds the trail (thanks for rolling for me Bhu).  Tracks.  These were people footprints, and there wasn't much to go on that these were related to the case.  But these tracks were all they had for the moment, and it was time to see what lay at the end of this path.

Bernie endorsed ... and looked quite idk between  :-\ and  >:( standing behind H.

Pence is still on the list.  I doubt Newt's gonna be it, heck his job was so much easier than Boehner's with no tea no nos.
The 3rd is a miitary guy who has been Publicly on camera pro-choice ... which is a conniption-able offense, I do say.

Poll of under 30s, had it about 40 20 20 20 for Hill Trump Libertarian and Green (lost the link for this).

CNN latest has it 42 38 9 7 nationally.

....well, I suppose it's time to go Jill Stien and bunker down for 4 years.

"That so?" muttered Lionel from under his breath.  He heard enough, this cheeky prisoner was playing games with them.  He kicked a nearby stool closer so that he could interrupt this little interrogation, taking a place uncomfortably close.

"The way I see it, I don't think you understand the s'tuation you're in.  Barnes is dead.  I've got people telling me that it was some kind of monster.  15 feet tall.  Big fangs.  Probably a thousand limbs.  Whatever.  Do you know how fukkin absurd that sounds?

The way I see it, a police officer died all horrible.  The only witness is a man already in jail for crimes.  A man who has a motive to escape, and a motive not to tell the truth.  Better tell a story about a boogeyman, so they don't realize what a sick fuck you are and hang you for your crimes.  Hell, if I tell the people about what you did to Barnes, I think they might skip the hangin' for somethin' more... biblical."

He slapped his hand on a nearby table, brandy soaked breath getting up in his face as he leaned in.

"So, we're gonna do this again.  The lady asked you a question.  I think this is one best answered."

So from what I understand, Squeaks will music-teleport the party to the middle of the forest where you've seen the skull kid hanging around, right?

Will update the IC accordingly tommorrow if nobody objects on that.

Gompa is also   quite blind and is quite seperated from the group and is being steered either by an INT 3 ape or a hammer brother.  Sorry about the hiatus.  I'm back now.

Oh welcome back!  I think I am with you, but I think I am also following you.  If you're separated from the group...

Hmm, how do we rejoin the party, I must have missed the part where Gompa wasn't present.

Your character is still at the docks unless I missed something, and the rest of the party is rallying there right now.

It looks like people are in the forest, not the docks, unless I missed something.

Squiggles is having a small problem.  The rats begin swarming around, under, and over her to reposition and its keeping her rather busy.  They start flinging down small objects, enough to give a -2 penalty to the Scissorman's AC.  Maybe this will give Axejack the opening he needs.

Axejack go!

In the middle of the interrogation, the door was kicked open.  The smell of leather, blood, and dirt drifted from this scraggly man wearing a heavy coat and hat which covered his eyes, further obscured by some bandages wrapped about his head from a recent.. infraction which got a bit rough.  Grayed out brown muttonchops sprayed out from the sides of his face, and his breath was heavy with brandy.  He had the look of a ruffian or an outlaw, few would expect him to be an officer of the law.

Lionel was late.  He had gotten the news while he was self medicating himself in the pub.  The old man was dead, and someone, or something was to blame.  Though to be fair, bring in his cups wasn't the reason he was really late.  Quietly he patted the pocket on his coat, feeling a familiar and forgotten little book at his side.

"Where is he?" he announced with a bassy smoker's grumble.  "Who will we be hanging for this one?"

Is there a place where the stats of these things are listed?  I just need to update my sheet with the new items.  Dueling pistol, axe (if you have something other than me refluffing the longsword), buff coat, and incidental items if needed.  Manacle and lock, for example.
