Dude was standing in the middle of the street yacking his @ss off, blocking traffic. And somehow he looks exactly like a 4'11" tall Mul version of Boris The Animal, the bad guy in Man In Black 3.

That will only lead to a building of frustration on your part which may eventually make you blow up and say some of those things in a far more blunt manner than you intend. Perhaps you should try just be honest with them.

I should have realized that my deliberate vagueness was too vague.

I have an ex that I've done a lot of ranting about here. I went to see her Thursday after work and we ended up talking for around 7 hours. The situation is somewhat complicated (isn't it always with ex's?) but we're going to try and be friends because we've been through so much shit together that neither one of us is willing to give up on our friendship.

And now I'm being emotionally needy because I do that and because I know she still has feelings for me even if she won't act on them for reasons that I understand. So I'm just bottling that shit up and driving myself crazy because god dammit I need to act like a normal person and be just friends with this woman.

Another tabletop canceled due to lack of players. Wouldn't be so bad if I didn't have to drive 2+ hours, 120 miles in holiday weekend traffic to see them. Its a lot of gas money, a lot of burned time, and particularly bad this weekend since I pulled out the stops and suffered sleep issues to get down here.

So since I'm stuck down here a while, who wants to decide what sadsack food I eat to make myself feel better.

Bah. Seriously, this keeps happening to me and now I'm cranky.
