Title: Please, don't squeeze the Shaman!
Post by: Psysama on July 27, 2019, 02:23:33 PM
I am making a Wisdom heavy character for 3.5e, homebrew is allowed.  Starting off as level 5 (Ranger, Scout, Shaman (https://dnd-wiki.org/wiki/Shaman_(3.5e_Class)), Spirit Shaman (https://dnd-wiki.org/wiki/Spirit_Shaman_(3.5e_Class)), and Adaptive Hunter. (https://www.drivethrurpg.com/product/55204/Adaptive-Hunter-?term=adaptive+hu)  Any ideas for feats that can help me with a Wisdom heavy character (Wis 19), like Wisdom in attack or defense or anything else you can think of?

Not laying out two bucks to read up on Adaptive Hunter, but the two classic big ones are:
- Paladin 2 + Serenity feat to get Wis to all saves
- Shiba Protector 1 to add Wis to attack and damage rolls if you can deal with the feat tax

Also, since you are multiclassing around so much without moving anywhere, I would seriously consider War Mind (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/psionic/prestigeClasses/warMind.htm). Full BAB and a good bit of wis-based Psionics for a lateral side step in careers.

Zen Archery is the only thing that comes to mind feat-wise.  Unless you're fighting unarmed.
