So there's this new mecha anime, Egao no Daika.

Opens up with human colony in some distant world, main character is a young princess who just became old enough to become queen although it seems her actual job's more being an idol to inspire the population. Also meet her young royal guard that she grew up together, a hotblooded and talented mecha pilot from a proud lineage of kingdom soldiers with his cutting-edge mecha. Then during a simulation the princess shows she has good battle instincts too and knows how to think outside the box to pull a victory, and has good synergy with hotblooded childhood friend.

Then, let's just say that shit starts getting real. And, well, keeps getting more real.

So in the Clear Card Manga Sakura runs finds a giant scissors card that loves to attack textiles and then divides itself in two swords.

Seems like CLAMP are fans of Kill la Kill.

Also since every manga card eventually gets used this means we'll soon see Sakura-chan dual wielding!
