Aeloru manages to supress the globe of invulnerability, and Dyson approaches to unleash his psionic power, but before he can get close enough some of the runic wards start glowing brighter.

I don't pee messages into the snow often , but when I do , it's in Cyrillic with Fake Viagra.  Stay frosty my friends.

Iskandar, seeing the construct hitting a metaphorical and literal wall, resolves his will and steps forward wordlessly. Grabbing onto Dyson, he attempts to brute-force his entry past the barrier, though his resolve is stronger than his physical strength.

With the help of the desert warrior, the inevitable manages to get close enough to manifest his power over time. Several of the gate's intricate components dematerialize, leaving behind a flawless square opening leading into a perfect darkness.

Dyson sees the large  flaming back of a Pit Fiend turned away from you. It seems to be focusing on something else further inside the room and haven't noticed the hole just formed behind them or the party. For now.

Dyson has his psicrystal relay the following message to his party telepathically: <Pit fiend, unaware of our position currently, directly ahead. Our portal will close in one minute. Please advise.>

Vist

Vist anticipates trouble, readying a Freezing Fog centered on the middle of the room where Dyson indicated the pit fiend was.

DC 27 BTW

Dyson grabs the skull and prepares to teleport away as soon as his accelerated timeframe ends.

As Dyson touches the skull, they feel the eons-old remants of the entity it once was inside, whispering words in forgotten languages.

Dyson arranges the clockwork components of his alien mind so as to maximally shield its vulnerable components from outside influences.

The words fail to make any sense in Dyson's logic patterns. As time resumes for the inevitable, they can feel Asmodeus face notice Dyson snatching the skull, the lord of nine's face first showing a hint of surprise followed by cold rage as it extends a clawed arm with unnatural speed. Then a freezing fog explodes in the center of the room, and Dyson manages to teleport out at the last moment.

Iskandar finds that he can't determine exactly what is going on. Dyson disappeared into the darkness, and Vist let off a spell... but Iskandar can do nothing but try to be ready for a fight. Still, he remains close to the mage and the... was she a priestess? Temple custodian? It didn't really matter (as all are destined to become dust in the great vastness of the desert).

Whispering to Vist, Iskandar says, "Is Dyson still in there? Do we wait or leave to extraction?"

Vist

I think we should get out of here.

Vist casts Greater Teleport as soon as possible, ready to take the party as far away from the Palace as possible while remaining on the 9th.

Vist and whoever grab him are teleported to the hellish horizon the wizard had glimpsed from one of the fortress's few windows. You find yourself in an open wasteland saturated with brimstone and sulphur, just near an open crevasse extending down beyond sight.

Behind you stands Nessus, looking almost like a toy structure. Then you first see fire rise from it in an angry torrent along a shockwave blasting everything around. Some seconds later the sound actually reaches you, feeling quite like a yell of rage and hate that makes the plane itself shake for a moment.

You can spot some devils roaming around in your open proximities, some now staring at you in surprise.

Dyson says "This unit suggests that you link hands with it in an expedient fashion and prepare for imminent planar departure."
Once everyone is linked up, he manifests Plane Shift, taking them to the Prime Material plane, in any remote region he is familiar with. He also initiates a strike (Emerald Razor) at the empty air upon arrival, and uses Instant Clarity to recover his spent psionic focus.

Vist

Upon arriving on the Prime, Vist immediately greater teleports the party to the entrance of Tymio's audience chamber.  Lady Tymio Vist says, we require assistance.
