Chrononaut's character doesn't need to sleep? What's his final creature type?

I'm changing my character again... I'm now a Silverbrow Human Wardancer/Wyrm Warrior multiclass (probably 5/1 starting out). The function will still be the same, but without the binding. Rebuilt character sheet will follow later tonight. I'll eventually add Dragonfire Inspiration, but probably won't be able to get it starting out.

You know I keep homebrewing all this stuff just for you, phae.  :cool
What can I say? I'm a fan of your work.  ;)

Hmm... how are you handling bloodlines? Would a draconic bloodline be enough to qualify someone as dragontouched? Enough to get into Chorrun Char? I'd really like to stick to the Okilei race. I was thinking of changing to silverbrow human solely to qualify for dragonfire inspiration without wasting a feat on it. If I went Wardancer 1/Bloodline 1/Wardancer +2/Wyrm Warrior 1/Wardancer +1, I could nab 2nd level manuevers starting out for my Wyrm Warrior dip, and a 3rd level stance with my 4th level of Wardancer.

Edit: Hmm... isn't there a Wyrm of War archetype that lets a dragon trade out its racial spellcasting for a martial adept progression? I'm thinking of going with 2 levels of Song Dragon with that archetype, and then 4 levels of Wardancer, if they'd stack. Alternatively, maybe half-battle-dragon (Oslecamo's racial class) Okilie. Just brainstorming.

Edit2: OK... here we go. Half (battle)-dragon 2 Okilie/Wardancer 4. Assuming you don't mind if I have the half-dragon levels stack with Wardancer instead of Warblade, this should get everything that I want. I'll take the Deceivingly Innocent Form and Energize Weapon feats, I think, and at 6th take Dragonfire Inspiration and become a whirling maelstrom of graceful draconic destruction.  :smirk

Alternatively, if I could trade out the racial spellcasting from the Song Dragon and have it stack for martial adept levels instead, I might just go Song Dragon 2/Wardancer 4. I'd prefer that I think, actually.

Mukti, I am wondering how you are getting +3LA for free?  Seems a bit  :plotting to me.

Racial progression classes, this campaign has no LA.

Also I'm a full outsider (angel, remember) so yeah, no sleep or eating required.

I know about the racial progression classes.  I seemed to miss the incarnate construct, but I think that is only -2LA correct?  Lolth-touched is +2LA IIRC and white dragonspawn is +1LA.  So I am seeing a total of +1 LA that hasn't been allocated in the levels.

I mentioned it in a message to him and he was okay except for the flavor of Lolth Touched. I didn't notice LA being gone - the closest I saw of anything like that being mentioned is "LA Buyoff. No. Instead use monster progression classes." As for the math, I will demonstrate it: Lolth-Touched is a +1 LA template, White Dragonspawn is a +1 LA template, Dragonborn of Bahamut is a +0 LA Template, Incarnate Construct is a -2 LA template, and Warforged are a +0 LA race.

Lolth-touched is only +1LA?  For some reason I had it stuck in my head that it was +2LA so I was wondering if it was just a dumb math mistake (I once added 1+1=3 on a quantum mechanics test :lmao).  Cool.  Seems like the world will be overrun with lots of giant killer robots. :)

Go ahead and do song dragon 2 and take the Wyrm of War archetype, which we'll say converts the spellcasting so it stacks with wardancer martial progression.

Just to let you know, I'm going to write a few Wardancer ACFs today, one of which will grant Divine Muse.

Yeah, Lolth-touched is only +1 LA.

(Anyone else have a problem with wanting to write Llolth?  I always want there to be more Ls in it.  Llollthlth.)

How does a White Dragonspawn of Tiamat become a Dragonborn of Bahamut? :twitch

Awesome. So here is how the archetype is written:
(click to show/hide)
Oslecamo's song dragon class says this:
Quote
A Song dragon receives spells known and spells per day as a sorceror of 2/3 his level, but he has CL equal to his HD.
So I think the way I'd interpret this interaction is that:
1) A wyrm of war song dragon's racial hit dice stack full for determining initiator level.
2) A wyrm of war song dragon's racial hit dice only stack for determining when you get new maneuvers known/readied and stances at the levels indicated in the chart.

So if I started out as a Song Dragon 1, then took 3 levels of Wardancer, and then took another level of Song Dragon, I'd be able to pick up a 3rd level stance with that last level, because my IL would be 5, but I'd be choosing a stance as if my Wardancer level were 4 for the purposes of progressing maneuvers known and readied, and stances known.

If this is OK, I'm quite happy with that result.

I'm not sure what we'll do if I ever hit levels 7 and 16, though:
Quote
Domain: At levels 7 and 16 the Song dragon can add the spells from one domain to his spells known list. The choices are Healing, Travel, Trickery.
Maybe I can just trade out the domains for a Devotion feat. :D

That's exactly the interaction I was thinking.

And what you do with the domains is add new disciplines.  So there.

Wow... I was looking at some of the other dragons in Oslecamo's monster classes, and the Wing Dragon is pretty insane. At 2nd level, it has a fly speed of 30, five natural attacks, spectacular senses (180' darkvision!), and some other fun abilities like chameleon-skin and a smoke breath weapon that it can completely control (changing colors, shaping it like things, etc). It can also see perfectly in any kind of smoke, and gets 1d6 sneak attack at 4th level. I think I'm going to go with that crazy thing instead of the Song dragon. It only gets 1/2 BAB progression and d6 hit dice, unlike most dragons, and no damaging breath weapon to compensate.

I'll still be going with the Wyrm of War archetype.

If you're going for that thing, I'd focus on:

Quote
This means that when they gain the Limited Snatch ability listed below, they can drop up to 7 objects at a time (4 in the feet, 2 in the wingclaws, and 1 in the mouth).

Now start crafting poisons and other nasties (you know what I mean).

Edit: Any Phae, what happens if your characters have to fight each other? Or are you a mole in one team?
