There you go! Excellent hit! Valar gets a bit carried away and executes a complete rookie hit on the enemy commander, that he blocks without much trouble. Damn, should be careful about myself first

A bolt comes flying out of no where and hits your helmet.

Meanwhile the soldier and commander exchange fruitless blows.

Valar throws a quick worried glance in the direction where the bolt came from, fearing enemy reinforcements. Seeing that was not the case, he turns his attention back to the fight, focusing to strenghten his Force Shield.

The soldier takes a swing at the commander, who ducks under the blow and attempts to counter attack but is foiled by the soldier shield.

Let's get this over with Valar swings at the commander once more, but he manages to parry with a last ditch effort.

Batting the sword aside, the commander tried to take advantage of the opening.

The soldier attempted to hit the commander while he faced away from him, but the blow glanced on his armor.

Valar latches out once again with a series of blows that manages to overwhelm his opponent's defense eventually.

Being over balanced from his missed swing mere moments ago, the commander was unable to defend himself properly from the combine forces of his foe, taking a pair of blows. These attacks unbalanced him even further throwing his aim off for his own attack.

Valar wasn't willing to give his opponent time to recover his balance, as he followed up with another quick slash.

The slash causes a gash to start to bleed from his gut through his armor, which is accompanied by a deep grunt. The commander doubles over in pain, seeing his chance the Cyrian soldier seizes his sword in two hands, going for the killing blow.

Somehow sensing the blow coming the commander side steps the attack and makes a stab of his own on the overreaching soldier, scoring a deep chest wound. As the dead soldier slid from the commander's sword, he seemed to stand straiter than before, as if the kill had invigorated him.

"Now it is your turn." Growled the commander as he shifted position to better cut off your escape. Then with heave he started his assault anew.

The commander grimaces as the strike connects, but takes it in stride as he aims his next swing for Valar's head.

The commander's armor takes most of the blow, but it is clear it still wounded him. Anger getting the better of him as he makes a wild swing.

Valar easily dodges his opponent's blow and replies with a well aimed swing.

The commander attempts to catch the blow on his shield again, but aims to high, allowing the blade to slip under his shield. The impact throws his swing off just enough to make it go wide. As he tries to recover there is strain clear on his face.

Seeing his opponent slow to recover, Valar tries to squeeze a couple of quick hits past his guard, but the effort of the past few minutes is starting to make itself felt. He's not as fast as he should be, and the Thranish manages to block.

Though tiring, the commander stubbornly keeps his defenses up, managing to catch both attacks on his shield, before trying low swing.

The commander's fortitude appears to fail him as he collapses and a pool of blood starts to spread from the many wounds he had sustained.

Having just finished their foes, albeit at the cost of their allies, the remaining Thranes turn to face Valar.

With the death of their commander the Thranes appear to be exercising a bit of caution, maneuvering closer to Valar, before engaging.

Valar takes his time, moving with agility to avoid being caught between the two opponents, then tries a surprise attack, but finds his enemy ready.

The soldier spins, catching Valar's blade on his own, but he is not quick enough to get an effective attack of his own in. The other soldier throws caution to the wind as he dashes to the aid of his ally.

Having brought his enemies right where he wanted them, Valar brought his sword about in a wide arc.

The recklessness of the second soldier cost him as a large bloody gash is made across his abdomen, the sword having found a gap in his armor. The blow is not to take him out of the fight though, as he unsteadily stays on his feet.

The great attack set the soldiers back to hesitant and cautious maneuvers.

Edit: forgot about action points, and since you didn't post yet decided to use one.

Not even the soldier's caution saved him in the end, as the large blade cleaved strait through his shield and into flesh.

The remaining soldier appears torn on what course of action to take, but makes a pitiful attempt of an attack regardless.
