Hideky Kamiya tells people begging for ps4 Bayonetta to get lost.

lol Zelda on anything that isn't a Nintendo is laughable..it might  have merited discussion during the dark days of the WiiU but now....

Even Relic has no more fucks left to give Dawn of War 3 after less than a year after launch. No more factions, no other game modes, no more units, nothing.

This pressages really badly for Age of Empires 4 too.

Part of the problem is that Dawn of War 3 isn't like 1 or 2 so it made most of the fanbase angry from what I've seen.

Dawn of War 2 also was completely different from 1, but the campaign was pretty nice and Last Stand is lots of fun and 4 factions at launch with two different MP modes. Dawn of War 3 was just bad with only 3 factions, a single MP mode at launch besides lackluster campaign.

All I ever do is start new games and then never get far enough into the storyline to even pick a side.

You can use console commands to become a Werevampire Dragonborn which is pretty nice.

The end fight of the game is pretty easy through, even the DLC's boss is a push over. The real challenge is in being ragdolled by the undead.

Should be interesting to see what games come back if they allow it

Probably not very many.

All the examples they posted already have free servers and it's not like allowing people to continue using them is going to result in the original companies publishing the full code. Rather they will have to continue development to match the last patch like they have been. What will change is the argument over intellectual property.

Back in the good ole days you worked on those projects and released it for free, then people started coming together in communities that posted advertisements, then people starting forcing "donations" like PlanetMinecraft's nested ad-links, and now it's Patron's pay-me-to-provide-updates-or-I-won't. With the original corporations unable to issue take down notices to freeservers charging monthly connection fees you'll see an almost immediate capitalization of mostly stolen content. I'm not say everyone will quit, but someone else making money off your content you worked on is a great way to kill your motivation to work on anything related to it. This will inevitably turn to the worst sort of thing as each "free" server will turn to monthly fees to pay developers but each one hordes it's development instead of sharing even through both are probably doing nothing more than playing catch up to someone else's IP that was released in one of the official patches.

The DMCA exemption needs to include a very nice non-profit clause to it. Force them to work for free and they will work out of the love for the game. Sharing becomes encouraged.

I doubt any further developement would be done for anything put into exemption for that. It looks like the museum is specifically only going to be hosting the MMOs on a server(s) only accessible from within the museum itself. The MMOs would be just more exhibits within the museum. This is.....kind of nothing :/

I'm thinking about getting an old xbox just so I can play one of my favorite games that I've been unable to find a decent emulator and rom for. Mercenaries playground of destruction

You don't want to play the ps2 version? Cause that emulator is pretty good.

Non-emulator related, I'd also feel you'd get more out of a ps2 than an original xbox if you really had to pick up an old system like those. It's also on PSN if you wanted a current gen PS at the least *shrugs*

If i'm doing it via emulator I'll take what I can get (link please), and after looking at the US PSN, it isn't on there only the second one is.

EDIT: I found my old xbox, and copy of the game, so never mind on buying stuff

a decision has been made https://www.cinemablend.com/games/2317502/the-esrb-has-made-a-decision-on-loot-boxes

"Starting soon ESRB will begin assigning a brand-new label to physical games: In-Game Purchases. This label, or as we call it interactive element, will appear on boxes (and wherever those games can be downloaded) for all games that offer the ability to purchase digital goods or premiums with real world currency."

weak....
