I'd love to see your ideas, even if I don't end up implementing them.
The most I've got is "Man, a Warforged Morphling would be like this!"

Sorry, I'm only an idea guy when it comes to D&D mechanics.   :(

The more I think of it, the more I like the idea of having my Morphling be a Warforged.  I could be a transformer.   :P

Freedom is a sacred right! For my home Dome, is who I fight! Let all my foes know fear and doubt! Warforged Morph, transform and roll out!

Thank you. Thank you. It's been too long since I wrote something this fun, so thank you.

And now, the cast of Unique's Backstory.

So this was chunked out in the last half hour after a couple of notes. It's not my best writing, but the point is there.

Notes are as follows:

Whatcha think thus far? I'll probably retype bits just because this is a first draft, but these are the ideas so far.
I'm here and ready to keep confusing the hell out of everyone I meet.

I think that's pretty cool! Possibly a neurotoxin that gives you psychic powers, and keeps giving your PSP's... and KEEPS giving you PSP's until... well...

And becoming a Lifetorn is one of the few ways to abate the toxin.

(I tucked the Scanners pic behind a spoiler, so folks don't have to keep seeing it if they don't want to)

I may have gone a bit too dark there, then again the Punk asthetic is supposed to be gritty...

@Flay:  :clap  I think North is pretty good, though you could also go with Volta (which is basically one giant suburb).  I'm glad you like the DivHead and Mechanosynth!  Hopefully the Psykin/Repo Dog combo keeps you sufficiently entertained ;)

@littha: Excellent stuff.  Yes, it's dark, but there are plot hooks galore!  Love it.  How about this:  You spent your time with a wandering group of mechanosynths called the Odd Jobs.  They don't care what you look like as long as your goal is to become more metallic.

I think I saw the promotional movie for the Odd Jobs. It's called "Real Steel" :)

Perfect. I try to write characters with a load of plot hooks, I DM a lot and it really annoys me when people give me characters that you cant do anything with.

By the way, Flay, I just wanted to point out that if your company is based out of Evernight (and it can be if you want), it's definitely not a reputable company.  More legit would be Volta, Sylvatium, or maybe Jarrash.  Just letting you know.  :)

Though, Evernight is the best dome, and is definitely the most interesting.

Oh no, they're a merc company that's best clients are criminals. Like any decent organization though, they maintain a flimsy cover with occasional shit jobs. Not that anyone is fooled in the slightest. If anyone's played starcraft 2 (heh, "if anyone"), I'm thinking of at least one of the characters in his group being the zombie equivalent of Tychus Findlay. And since someone's cast list rocks, I feel tempted to post one myself, in which case said character will be played by Jason Statham.  :cool

It could very easily turn out that his brother Roy winds up being sent after him at some point, if you get bored or run out of sub-plots. :D I was trying to incorporate a sort of Bulger/Connolly relationship thing, where one's on each side of the legal scale, but they like and tolerate one another until one goes too far.

Jason's too small to play Tychus. Now, Ron Perlman (UGLIEST MAN IN HOLLYWOOD) can do it, I think. Jason's more a Raynor kind of build.

(Now all we need is to get Michael Ironsides older, to play the role of Mengsk, get Cuba Gooding Jr. to play the General, and keep Angelina Jolie naked to play Kerrigan, and we have the Starcraft movie.)

I'm waiting to find out of the Synthevolover/Morphling prestige class is going to be something I want to take.   :p

Haven't done anything yet except posting that build in the other thread. I'm not sure if the build I'll make will be the same now, though. When I'll get some free time I'll try to flesh something up.

I'm having some issues deciding what I want in all honesty.  The "Agent" archetype keeps going through my head, and to get the usual stats with that would require large investments in DivHead, Dodger, and Synthevolver.  Coming up with something functional along those lines at level 4 is proving a bit difficult.  I'm probably just too focused on the little things to get the big things done though.

:derp

Unique is finished. Prestige Classes do not sway me.
