Everyone has divvied up the loot, and has decided to leave the cave. Where are you headed off to?

"Should we go to this place mentioned in the paper carried by that ugly guy, or check the burial ground?"

"I believe we should focus our efforts on quashing whatever plans these Kobolds were apparently a part of." Cal remarks as he fits the dragonshard into an alcove on his staff.

Testing the grip on the gauntlets, Gerand answers with a detached sound to his voice. "Closest target first. I believe that wound mean examining the burial ground, since this location has been thoroughly routed."

Amnon looks at his compatriots.  "We must go where there is evil to be vanquished!"

"Technically, both of our options present plenty of opportunities to 'vanquish evil'... Let's go to the closer one - the burial grounds. Anyone have any other suggestion?"

Cal hesitates before nodding, "If that is the consensus then I shall wield the light of Il'Yannah in the name of our goal, I do not like the idea of leaving this cult matter unattended for any amount of time though."

The party rests up and decides to head to the burial ground, investigating the link between Douven Staul's disappearance and strange goings-on in the region. On the way out of the cave, a satchel full of maps seems to be resting on the ground near the entrance to the cave, though no trace of their owner remains. You feel a faint crackle of static as you leave the kobolds' lair, and the whispers in your head seem to fade.

The burial ground doesn't seem terribly far, maybe a half-hour's trip maximum, and the path is well-marked. Clearly, Aanna had been prepared for this journey.

Upon arriving in the clearing where the map indicates the Dragon burial site rests, you notice a steep-sided crater seems to puncture the wilderness. Near the center of the depression, several humanoid figures cluster around a collection of bones. Two small, dragonlike creatures near the crater rim stand alert and stare at your direction, though they do not attack or appear immediately hostile. Standing near the humans is the young elf girl that the group encountered yesterday, Delphina Moongem. On her arm she carries a wicker basket with flowers peeking out from the top.

As you approach, she looks up and waves to you, smiling. "Why hello my friends! Thank you again for rescuing me yesterday. What brings you out so deep in the woods today?"

"I was shaken up, but I know that I can't just let that terrible event control my life. Still, one can't be too careful, so I asked these gentlemen from town to escort me through the woods so any more of those nasty kobolds will have to think twice before bothering me." She kneels down and dusts off the ground a bit, then continues,  "I feel safe enough now to continue collecting my flowers, and there's supposedly a rare breed of flower that grows in the graves of dragons. That's why I'm all the way out here. Won't you help me look for sprouts?"

Pointing at the dragonlike creatures, Amnon says, "And what manner of foul beasts are those?"

"Those're guard drakes. They're common pets, like domesticated wolves or hunting dogs. These men use them to catch wild animals and, around here, sometimes those shifty kobolds too."

Golkonda knows everything Delphina just mentioned, and that in the wild they hunt in packs, again much like wolves. Though they make look draconic, they're barely more than big reptiles, and only just. They're roughly the same size as a fairly large dog, though they still seem capable of dishing out the hurt all the same.

"Well if they were helping me look for flowers, they wouldn't be helping to look for brigands and cutthroats, would they?"

They kind of look like brigands and cutthroats themselves, though no one accused the people of Winterhaven of being a beauteous people.

"Comrades," Cal says stopping for a moment, "Hold, there is something... wrong. I feel it in my bones, some deception or falsehood."

Gerand pulls to the side and front of the group. He didn't trust the damn girl when he first met her, and he doesn't much like her now. Nor does he particularly like the oddity of checking a hunting ground after nearly being abducted, despite the hunters around. She might be that bold... but Gerand wasn't a fool to rely on that. He still gives a polite nod, quietly listening to the cautious banter of his group and the relaxed answers of their acquaintance.

Golkonda takes the new companion's word to heart, but decides to keep talking, and see if something shows up.

"Aside from being rare, does this flower have any other .... unique feature? Perhaps some healing property?"

"It's... pretty? You don't deal with flowers very often, do you?"
