The Peanut Gallery
« on: October 25, 2012, 08:45:43 PM »
"As serious as I get, I'm afraid," Darayat replies cheerfully. "And of course I know about it! Your family and the Bagginses - or is that Sackville-Bagginses?" He frowns thoughtfully. "I can never remember." He beckons over one of the cudgel-bearing halflings. "You wouldn't happen to know, would you?"
I just had to make a thread for comments... this is too hilarious not to.  :lmao

YEEEEESSSSSS!

So, I'm guessing the "good guys" didn't know what was up either, right? Hello all from Team Evil.  :evillaugh

Edit: So... SirP and/or MM: is the Wall of Force still blocking the portal, then? And the Null Field is down? Or is the Wall of Force also gone?

Edit2: Oh yeah... My character goes by Gleron. He's the one currently possessing one of the copies of the tiefling/wannabe-marilith. :P

Hello, everyone.  My name is DonQuixote, and I wear a silly hat.

My character's name is Skellum, and he wears a slightly sillier hat.
“Hast thou not felt in forest gloom, as gloaming falls on dark-some dells, when comes a whisper, hum and hiss; savage growling sounds a-near, dazzling flashes around thee flicker, whirring waxes and fills thine ears: has thou not felt then grisly horrors that grip thee and hold thee?”

Greetings, my character is Throisar, a green dragon(Pathfinder) posing as a Sun Elven wizard. Who I hope isn't too under-powered.
I hear it's amazing when the famous purple stuffed worm in flap-jaw space with the tuning fork does a raw blink on Hara-Kiri rock! I need scissors! 61!

Hi all! I’ve posted some closing notes for each party on the thread you just came from: Darayat, it’s the last post now on the IC thread in a spoiler; the rest of you, it’s at the current end of the OOC Chatter thread.

As SirP mentioned, if you were using the OOC Chatter thread, you’ll be continuing to use it; we’re merging the three IC threads here in Jewel but keeping the OOC threads separate for now.

In case you’re just hearing from me for the first time… thanks for playing in our craziness, and bringing such amazing characters!

And to Throisar’s concern about being under-powered: In our games you’re ALWAYS underpowered. So… don’t worry about it!!  One time, we had someone playing The God of Magic as a PC. It didn’t really help him all that much   :-)

Gleron - We'll be handling your Q on the OOC Chatter thread.

Wassup peeps!

I'm playing Ror -> (mostly) Dwarven (mainly) Ritualist.

EDIT:

Also, I've been using this for Ror's speech.  I was using just plain Teal originally, but changed to the glow green after the hiatus.

Howdy.

I'm from Star's group, with Fire and Scout and others who have yet to post. My character is Ptolemaeus. He's a magic marksman who also dabbles with that wibbly wobbly timey wimey stuff.

Hope to have fun with everyone here!  :D

Everyone making knowledge rolls, or just Star's team(assuming just Star's team)?

Knowledge of All Things Bound.  It's one of his class abilities.

Also, GuyFawkes, notice the Dice Rolls thread.

They're rolling for what they might know about Vingilot, Maegnas Spiderbane, and The Nothing. Some might know one, some another, some more likely than others.

In Arkesh’s group, as I posted before, I’m looking for a roll from the Margravine about The Nothing. I guess it’s possible for Skellum to have heard of The Nothing, but much less likely.

It’s possible for Throisar to have heard something of Vingilot, or Maegnas Spiderbane, a long shot but not impossible.

Bane… considering where he’s from, none of the above.

Gleron … is well connected and at a nexus of information flow, so there is some chance he’s run across any particular piece of lore; a small chance in this case, for having heard of any of the three. Likewise, Bracken Jorden is very well traveled and has a small chance.

So: Gleron, Bracken, Throisar, join the roll-fest. Knowledge Planes, or whatever else you might think is applicable. If you have ranks in Sailing, add them as a bonus. You’re now within The PlanTM so +2 Luck. There are some Morale bonuses they have floating around, but you’re not close enough yet to be in range. And, a percentile roll, 1d100+2 which counts the +2 Luck for that too.

Ahh okay, not sure if Throisar would have heard of them then, probably not.

*appears with a dramatic flourish of a cape, thunder roaring nearby*
I am... The Margravine. *thunderclap*.
I do hope we manage to scare a bit the Good team, at least as much they did for us. I'll be ... dissapointed, if it is not.

Good luck with that.   :P
