Debatra's Random Thought of the Day
I just realized Team Good wins. We originally set out to free some slaves. By blowing the place up, we've effectively ended the slave trade in Bral.
Could've gone better of course, but I'll take the win.
it was an enjoyable game for every party concerned, I do think, thus everyone won !
Also, we did hide the slaves somewhere, if I remeber well, so, don't call victory too soon...
At last, I had the time to give a look to build the Dread Parrot anew.
Wandering through Oslecamo's Improved monster classes, i found one of Bozwevial's
classes that triggered my imagination. 'Alas, i can't really transform a parrot in a humanoid, even with gestalt... But I found an other way

Special abilites Screech: Perhaps one of the most recognizable sounds in nature, an Eagle's screech both herald's its arrival and strikes fear into its opponent's hearts. A Giant Eagle may make an intimidate check as a swift action during a charge/dive. This is a sonic & fear based effect.
Powerful Build: As per the Half-Giant entry. It retains this feature when it later attains Growth.
Evasion: As the rogue special ability.
Pounce Swarm Master Swarm of Undead parrots (bats), Swarm of Undead Sand, Swarm of Undead Spiders, Swarm of Undead Parts.
Swarm Form, Consume, No EscapeElemental Skeleton-Your body is constantly wreathed with unquenchable Fire. As a swift action for 1 round your physical attacks deal an extra 1d6 of fire damage. Your cold resistance also changes to the new element.
So... We have now an undead, wreathed in flames, giant parrot of Doom, which can shift when needed into a swarms of its kind, or evil sand, or pirates body parts.
I do hope I've done justice to the Dread Parrot, both in coolness and usefulness : after all , having a swarm on call at our disposal is a useful tool. What do you guys think of it ?
