Well, that makes Arkesh and Ptolemaeus who have reasons to kill me! Which one of you is next?
Well... our whole team (Evil) has reasons to kill everyone else... So...  :devil (although after seeing you guys in action, Gabriel would be MUCH more likely to just skulk away quietly and hope you just forget he exists when this is all over  :lmao )
I don't pee messages into the snow often , but when I do , it's in Cyrillic with Fake Viagra.  Stay frosty my friends.

Today, I found out a friend from work is into D&D. We spent most of the day swapping strategies, stories, etc. Eventually, I gave a nutshell account of this game so far.

I've never seen a man roll his eyes so much in only ten minutes.  :lol

Yes, I told him about the Parrots.

For those still interested in my Wild ARMs 3.5e Project, I had another idea for a Crest Sorceress class feature:

Extension (Su)
At level X, the Crest Sorceress gains Chain Spell as a bonus feat, even if she doesn't meet the prerequisites. She may also apply this feat to touch spells she casts from Crests. When using Chain Spell spontaneously, a Crest Sorceress does not increase the casting time of her spells (but may do so if desired).

If the Crest Sorceress already has Chain Spell upon reaching level X, she may take another Metamagic feat she meets the prerequisites of instead. The other benefits of this class feature still apply to Chain Spell only.
---

I've also got a potential feat:

Greater Chain Spell [Metamagic]
Prerequisites: Chain Spell, caster level
Benefit: When using the Chain Spell feat, you may negate the reduced damage or save DC normally applied to any or all of your secondary targets. This feat may be used up to X times per day.

The feat started as "Greater Extension" before I realised there was no reason for my PrC to hoard it's benefits. I'm also wondering if "X/day" is too limiting for the cost of a feat.

Any feedback?

Venerated human excrement! I forgot about this game! Having had a couple laptops busted, I lost my usual links, and one of them to this game. Sorry for the inconvenience. I will catch up and post soon.

EDIT: Whoops, not my turn yet, thankfully. But well, I missed a lot OOC lol

@Debatra I am a fan of Wild Arms, and will look at your PrC during the weekends.  :)
@Boz So, you've finally shown your true form, Doctor.  :D

Debatra's Random Thought of the Day

I just realized Team Good wins. We originally set out to free some slaves. By blowing the place up, we've effectively ended the slave trade in Bral.

Could've gone better of course, but I'll take the win.

it was an enjoyable game for every party concerned, I do think, thus everyone won !
Also, we did hide the slaves somewhere, if I remeber well, so, don't call victory too soon...  :smirk

At last, I had the time to give a look to build the Dread Parrot anew.
Wandering through Oslecamo's Improved monster classes, i found one of Bozwevial's classes that triggered my imagination. 'Alas, i can't really transform a parrot in a humanoid, even with gestalt... But I found an other way  :devil

So, Behold ...
the Dread Undead Parrot swarn in a Can !

  NN Parrot (raven)
Animal 4- Lion Totem barbarian 1// Giant Eagle 2-  Animated Skeleton 1(fire Skeleton) -Swarm Shifter  2
 Level 5, Init +6, HP56 (2d10+3d12), Speed 10/Fly 75 (perfect) Size M
AC 10+6+1=17, Touch 17, Flat-footed 11, Fort - Ref +10Will +10, Base Attack Bonus +4
  Claws 12 (1d6+1, x2), Bite 12 (1d4+1)
Abilities Str 12, Dex 22, Con -, Int 13, Wis 16, Cha 8
(using the elite array as now the parrot got class levels, the Eagle bonuses, and +1 Str at 4th HD. )
Condition None
Feats Flyby Attack, Weapon Finesse (Bonus), Improved Manoeuvrability x2.

Special abilites
Screech: Perhaps one of the most recognizable sounds in nature, an Eagle's screech both herald's its arrival and strikes fear into its opponent's hearts. A Giant Eagle may make an intimidate check as a swift action during a charge/dive. This is a sonic & fear based effect.
Powerful Build: As per the Half-Giant entry. It retains this feature when it later attains Growth.
Evasion: As the rogue special ability.
Pounce
Swarm Master Swarm of Undead parrots (bats), Swarm of Undead Sand, Swarm of Undead Spiders, Swarm of Undead Parts.
Swarm Form, Consume, No Escape
Elemental Skeleton-Your body is constantly wreathed  with unquenchable Fire. As a swift action for 1 round your physical attacks deal an extra 1d6 of fire damage.  Your cold resistance also changes to the new element.

So... We have now an undead, wreathed in flames, giant parrot of Doom, which can shift  when needed into a swarms of its kind, or evil sand, or pirates body parts.
I do hope I've done justice to the Dread Parrot, both in coolness and usefulness : after all , having a swarm on call at our disposal is a useful tool.  What do you guys think of it ?

said swarm is not flaming, I do think, and as written, its a swarm of undead bats, but I'm sure we can refluff these bats into parrots. Too bad I can't use necropolitan, as it targets Humanoid only. the parrot would have been on the right gestalt side  Giant Eagle 3 - Swarm Shifter 2. A LARGE undead parrot. :D
We'll wait next level for that.

Give it a level of monk, buy it an Amulet of Natural Attacks, and stick flaming on it (and apply it to its Unarmed Strike)? :p

True. Everyone who endangers a Time Lord eventually dies. Then again, being a Companion to a Time Lord carries an inherent risk of terrible doom.

Well, I can put monk somewhere in there, instead of Barbarian  perhaps ? Though, we don't have an Amulet right now, and I do think Pounce we'll be usefull right now. A good idea for later.

Basic tactics. New guy on the yard, vulnerable posture. Find the toughest looking guy and take him out, then no one bothers you. Failing that, the toughest guy on the yard will probably kill you. If he doesn't, you're the guy that took a beating from the king of the yard and lived. It's kinda a Win Lose Win? situation

I have News.

There has been a Sighting.

SirP has been carried off by Thespians to the Land of Thespia, where they will practice their Evil Dead nature. But his return is foretold; the Evil Dead of AllHallows Eve shall at last perish and pass away to dust on AllSaints Day and he shall be Released from thralldom.

Saith he that a Sign shall be giv'n two days hence.
