I don't know if you guys are looking for a replacement for Flay/SirP, but I had a cool character idea, if you're willing:

Anthro-Animal 2 / Pseudonatural Creature 4 / Mawkin 2

Whaddaya think?

Looks good, but if you intend to take more Mawkin levels, I'll have to nerf the stat bonus from Mawkin Form +4 Str, +2 Con and +2 Nat armor (no Dex penalty tough).

I'll assume the party chose to just stand watching the battle unfold while noming some popcorn goblins.

Yeah, pretty much... I think we were going to try and spread out or something so we might have a better chance of cutting off "that damned paladin". :P

So we "slept" for a night (or two), got our tummies full, wounds healed, spells reprepped, etc, right?

I'm a size category larger than the eagles, so needless to say I won't be riding.

Maybe if two eagles worked together...

Hmm, riding them like I was standing on the backs of two horses would be pretty awesome.

Ooh! Or hanging upside down from them using my 8 legs!

Rule of cool says that yes, you can stand/hang on two eagles. Just make a nice description.

For my part, the benefit of being selectively incorporeal is I can hang on to one of them but not weigh them down at all or take up any space. :D

This guy's mount was crazy fast last time... I hope we can catch him and take it out before he buggers off again.

The main thing is tracking him. If we can keep track of him, we can still take him out.

It's hard to track a flying creature in the night sky. :P

Alright, my plan is to break from the group and silently come up behind him, then turn his mount incorporeal so he suddenly falls to the ground. I'll have to do the same "flying run" to catch up to him, though, and there's no saying how long the mount's speed reduction will last.
--edit--
...or not.

So, should we just wait to see if he splats, taking the chance that he's got some ace in the hole, or should we attack him?

I fully intend to grapple his ass and ridr him to the ground. I weigh a ton and a half, Iirc, so he'll be taking max fall damage regardless :p

...and then I get a tasty snack.

I could ride down with you, then turn you incorporeal just in time so you don't take any damage, unless you were hoping to simply add your mass to the crushing of his bones on impact. :D
