Hmm, the graft system isn't fleshed out enough for me to want to go Vivisector.

I'll have an Echocaller finished within half an hour.

Forgive my one-line backstory.

No worries, it can be fleshed out as things move along. It's late evening here (well, 9pm), so I'll post the first encounter in the morning.

And we're off. I took slight liberties with everyone's backstories just to make sure that they fitted together and explained why the party was in a group. Hope it's nothing too bad.

I think I'm not quite ready to post. I want my Companion to at least be mostly statted up, but I had some questions. I've posted them in what I believe to be the proper discussion posts in the Arhosa campaign forum.

Answers are up.

Edit: Since you're looking at the Spectral Mage (it's the only one with spell seeds) be aware that it and the Atropal Scion are going to be tweaked and changed around a bit, basically stretching the class and lowering the power level some.

The main reason I'm really looking at the Spectral Mage is it's one of I think two that the Necromant's 1st level Spiritwalker ability can apply to, and I can't think of any other way a 1st level Necromant would ever have an incorporeal undead under its control. Heck, I'm pretty sure the same goes for higher level, too.

There's four or more - Spectral Mage, Crypt Chanter, Voidwraith, Spectral Lyricist and maybe one or two more. There's also one or two spirit necros that grant spirit creatures. Plus, I'm hardly averse to creating another one or two, necrosis or companions.

I guess Spectral Mage just seemed like the most useful from first level,  and maybe easiest to conceal in a busy city without causing mass panic. Not that panic hasn't already set in. :lol

Spectral Mage is probably the most useful at the moment, but it's also going to be rebuilt, since it's a tad strong for a companion. Also, we are taking Setras Ra, a city built by teleport wielding ,magicians. You'd have to do better than a shimmering figure to really scare people.

I think I chose to have a Good alignment in the campaign where it'll probably be the biggest liability.  :D

I haven't set my alignment, though I was thinking I'd fry for a good,  or at least neutral,  necromant.

I should have stats for my companion later tonight, with changes pending once Strat settles in them. For now,  I'm not sure which Seed would be most helpful now and later on. I'll try to pick a one that's useful to the party on a mostly daily basis.

Once I'm done I can make a spot check for Mul-Morgen and set her off to try and keep tabs on our perps.

There were about five doors she could get to before the guards did, but she wasn't sure which one to choose. One looked like a warehouse, another two shops, a fourth an inn, and the last she couldn't tell what kind of building it was.

One thing to remember is that a lot of the Necromant's abilities were built but not assigned to a given level, so any suggestions on those is highly appreciated. And I also need to figure out whether I keep the incorporeal material in the base class or move it out to a fairly easy access PrC, and focus on more "pure casting" material. Not sure how I feel about that.

Things like "Necromantic Recovery (Su): Whenever a necromant slays an enemy with one of his necros, he captures a portion of the slain enemy's soul, regaining a single grave token. He can regain as many tokens per week as his maximum necros level. "

Isn't there already a feat for that,  or would this be a class feature on top of that?  Would they stack? Also, how often would a Necromant actually slay an enemy with a Necros? Most of their's will be buffs or debuffs, right?
